Jackson Wang is caring for others, that’s what l saw, while seeing him with his newcomer team of young dancers in the Chinese Dance Competition. In every sequence about the training for a new performance he encouraged, inspired, motivated his dancers. I have not seen him once being impatient, nor putting anyone down. His motto was wholeheartedly “we ca do it”. I admired him so much working with these inexperienced dancers. And they did it, they were the best.

He was a co-host for Go Fridge this year, and I think a year ago? Also the judge of Street Dance of China with his brother Yibo and Exo's Lay. He's pretty active in Chinese shows, and I agree he's good! Edit: I noticed his attitude was more carefree in Chinese shows than in Korean interviews, I think it's because he's already recognised as an artist there, whereas in Korea, he wanted to distance himself from the comedy icon he became (and that people would know him only for that and not for his music)

[corrected] This is, in my opinion part of something that happened on weekly idol. He was sincere and told everyone he was cleaning and took an appreciation to it, but all the boys started bothering him so ... he just changed his answer. But he actually did. The 2 quarentines made him clean his room to feel active. He did photo blog on the first one when he went to china. Was actually inspiring

Let me clear some facts about Jackson to casual fans and non-fans. Yes, we all know Jackson is funny and all. However, he wants to be recognised as someone who is passionate about music, to be acknowledged as an artist. He is more than a funny guy. He doesnt like to be called as King of variety show, he said it himself. It would be much appreciated if you dont keep asking him to go on variety shows. When got7 first debuted, we could see him in many variety shows in korea, but not now anymore. Ppl didnt look at him as an artist seriously back then bc of his image as a funny guy. Therefore, i hope you also respect him as an artist and see him more than a funny guy. If you wanna compliment him funny and stuff, go on its your rights. Like i dont mind you want to compliment him funny, but seeing comments like he should go to more variety shows, he should have his own variety shows and stuff, let me tell you, its not like he can't, but he wants to focus in his music first. But, ofc he would go to variety shows sometime to promote his music. Btw, support Jackson's latest song, Alone which based on his life and he will also drop two albums this year, yohoo😊 and finally after getting out from the company, he can promote his solo work in Korea, and yes you can expect his variety show appearances.

JACKSON HIMSELF HAS SAID ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS THAT HE DOESNT LIKE BEING REFERRED TO AS THAT VARIETY GUY... when jackson had his fanmeet in china he said that he wears a cap and performs because he wants people to look at his talent and not his face, because everyone associates his face with variety shows..he broke down in front of everyone just because he wanted to be recognised for his music, he wanted to share his passion with everyone, he wanted the world to see his work and not his face

@@catbeomie yeah they get to keep the name but now they’re all solo. Even though they promised to have reunions frequently, it doesn’t mean they’ll be appearing on variety shows like this again or any time soon at least is what I mean.

I have seen the whole show and what irked me the most is they didn't give yugyeom proper screen time. Most importantly they skipped his introduction like what's going on buddy??? Anyways, Jackson's sense of humor will always be on point 😄
