And the RRX24 👉🏽 imp.i114863.ne...
My First video ever was about my Jackson RRX. The X series Jacksons filled a void of more affordable quality INDONESIAN made guitars. I was super impressed for the price. Now we see if that guitar set an unreachable standard for the RR24Q!

My rrx24 had Seymour Duncan Blackouts active pick ups it was so amazing. I couldn't find anything to complain about with mine. Had Ebony fretboard sharkfin inlays. And an awesome red high gloss, neck through, Floyd Rose, 24 fret super smooth fretboard, and neck was great couldn't believe how nice it was.

Tonewood is an acoustic guitar concept. I have 2x identical guitars in different colours made from the exact same wood, same pickups, same brand, same model, same year, yet the tones sound different. Two electric guitars will always sound different, but it's not the type of wood that is changing the tone. Type of wood only affects sustain, not the tone. Tonewood is mainly a marketing ploy to make you pay more. Doesn't mean you shouldn't buy high end guitars, of course. I can see the value in different woods for weight reasons, different smoothness of the necks or the softness of the fretboard or rosewood vs. maple necks etc. But wood is just a feel thing, nothing to do with tone.

I've got a 2018 Pro RR3 from Indonesia. It's pretty much flawless fit, finish and setup out of the box. I don't understand how so many others are getting bad QC on theirs. I have a USA Jackson to so I have something to compare built quality and finish to.

That guitar does what a Jackson does which is metal better than any guitar! You can’t get tone from Ibanez, ESP etc you have no gripe! Killer Sounding Guitar. You want a wimpy 80’s machine buy an RG 550.

I recently got the purple one and it was awesome but it had some finish issues from being banged around somewhere. I too, thought the clear finish past the paint with on the neck was strange. I am currently waiting on a replacement.

Thank you so much! I don’t think I would have hated it as much if I didn’t have an idea of what it was going to be like in my head! It’s a GREAT guitar for someone. And no. The RRX24 is part of the “x series” which is made to be a more affordable series.

My pro series warrior had a crack forming at the bottom where the neck sat in the body and Jackson didn't really care and told me to take it to guitar center and they didn't do shit for me either. Paid 1300 (price a year or so ago) and had that issue after a few months. Also kinda bummed it didn't come with a gig bag for that price but whatever. Plan to buy another one since it was the most comfortable guitar I've owned. Also saw Dave is getting a red and yellow custom shop warrior release soon so might cop the yellow. Lmao

Always look at specifications when you buy a guitar. It’s all there on the seller and manufacturer’s listing. Always do the extra research. Can’t get mad at a guitar when the information was there for you. However I will admit the neck profiles being different was a surprise for even me. I got a Pro Series Fury as an upgrade to my X series Jackson RRX24 and both said Thin U neck profile. However the Fury had a noticeably beefier neck.

AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaand you're back! Nice to see you again Jimmy! I also have the same thumb pop on my left hand. It freaks my daughter out, too funny. Great looking guitar but if it doesn't fit, you must...return it. I do like the look reverse headstocks though. If the guitar hold its tuning, not a big issue. Great review, you covered all the bases. The playing aint bad either.

i realized after that i didn't mean to say it as if they were both Duncan.. I meant to say " Duncan Distortions and Dimarzio Super Distortions!! i just did a poor job of conveying that! and again, I love mahogany ! its an amazing tone wood, but it isn't as versatile. if i was playing things that only required very full, thick tones than it would be perfect but i do need something to be thinner at times!
