Even though I don't listen to them every day, Iron Maiden is my favorite band because when I hear their songs I have that feeling in my heart that makes me love them. It started when I was 10 or 11 when I started liking them (before I couldn't bear to listen to The Trooper haha), then I went to the Maiden England tour in 2013, and since that time, I've been in all of their live shows here in Chile. Singing along all the crowd Fear of the Dark is payless.

This guitar would be so easy to Mod the hell out of it. Pariah BlackHeart humbucker and a Bare Knuckle Cobra for the Neck. Follow Ola's lead and lower and disconnect the middle pikcup, replace with 3 way switch. You could mod the neck joint and make it like a JS1000, so you have 2 bolts on the lower horn side taking 1 1/2 inch bolts, and the other side (top side) taking 1 3/4 inch bolts. This is a very comfortable neck heel. Takes some time and some 180 grit sandpaper.. and the 2 shorter bolts. If someone is considering doing this - the low side (short side) is 11/16ths and the taller side is 1 full inch. (this what to sand it to on the body to give you that easy access slant. Yes - you will cut into the lower horn a bit. The area has to be big enough to put the neck plate back on. And then smooth it out so it is not an ugly mess.

Many moons ago I had a Dime 3ST, bought it from Mars Music in Somerville, Ma. At the time it was the most expensive guitar I had ever bought. I also had the full Warhead stack. I pawned the guitar to finance my bands album. Worst mistake of my life... The pawn shop sold it before the time was up to buy it back, the dude saw that it was worth way more than the loan, when I went back to get it it was gone. I've been hunting for it ever since or one like it. 20 years...If memory serves it was serial number 0000095. This has nothing to do with this video, it was just on my mind while watching and how many guitars, awesome and not so awesome I've lost along the way. I bought this guitar a few years ago just to see if I could get my head around superstrats and Floyds and all that. This seemed like the best one out of a lot of other decent options all around. Yeah I ordered the white one with black pickguard the other day and also a Dimarzio Super Distortion and a couple of Fender noiseless single coils with it. This was my second guitar and I love it. I mostly use it for clean and rock/crunsh tones though. The neck is really smooth imo especially after having played a guitar that had like a bathtub full of finish on it and I like how thin it is a lot, it's not as thin as some shred guitars but it's still really fast while still being comfortable for normal playing. Also the trem works great and stays in tune for what it's used for, I'd switch the trem if it would go up more but for the range you have out of the box I don't see a need to do so. It's just a great guitar especially the price the only weakness is the pickups which are fine though for the price not like some of the low end Ibanez pickups.

As for the FR Special, they are mostly the same as an OFR with the difference that they are made in asia and use less durable materials. So if you get Problems with them, the reason is most likely wear. But as long as you are not "Steve Vaiing" the shit out of it, a FR Special is perfectly fine and will last you quite a while.

Nope, the Special doesn´t have the same measurements as the Korean 1000 & 1500 Series or the proper German OFR and it´s made out of cheapo metal alloys. It doesn´t have nearly the sustain that the high-end variants have, because the trem block is much thinner & also the saddles & blade kinfes will wear out like crazy. Stay away from any Floyd Rose Specials & 2000 Series.

@@rezaanarda6823 worst case scenario, you’ll have to trim the new guard a little to fit perfectly around the neck heel and the Floyd Rose. Such a beautiful guitar. So grateful for this review - I’ve been seriously considering grabbing one but now there’s no doubt.

That's why I prefer just a single/ hum configuration instead of a middle pickup.

I heard the biggest problem with this guitar is you have to remove the neck to adjust the action

I contemplated buying one of these a few months ago, but I saw a lot of them being resold, so I bought an Ibanez RG420HPFM instead. I feel I made the right choice.
