Jackson Street Railroad Crossing, Courtland, AL with Crossing Malfunctions!

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a WCH mechanical bell.
This was the second train I caught today, NS 23N with a UP AC44CW leading a UP ET44AC!
As you can see the crossing signals here will be getting replaced soon. However, it seems that the crossing needs to be upgraded, as it keeps shutting off while the train is still passing! Though once it does get upgraded, that'll bring the number of mechanical bells in Lawrence County down to 1.

These signals were actually replaced later in the same month that this was recorded.

That's a first for me, I've never actually seen UP put one of their older engines in front of a tier 4 since the only railroad that really does that is BNSF!

This crossing reminds me of Seneca in Trinity. Except the lights. Now it's been replaced

The old signals reminded me of a cross between Quietdale Drive in Huntsville and Seneca Drive in Trinity, only with older Safetran lights.

The crossing on main Street in Leighton had a malfunction just like this.

@@chaoticboi2257 Do you happen to remember which of his videos show it? Looking at a few, it seems that it works fine. (Also, glad to hear he's still around. A few years ago, he used to post in a Facebook group I'm in, but then seemingly left for no reason. He got quite a few videos of the crossing back when it still had Safetran 8 inch lights and a mechanical bell.)
