Thank you for your review 🙂 I watched this video, along with a few others, but yours helped me make my decision to purchase. Just received them today. They are so beautiful and comfortable! I don’t know why I didn’t notice these when I began my skate journey. I was too focused on all things Moxi. Bought indoor wheels for them too. Love your input and you’re a great skater too.

I'm so glad you like them! I'm a year in with mine and they still look and skate just as well when they were new! I think their marketing is mostly word of mouth as opposed to Moxie where they are all over the place. Anyway thanks for watching!

Thank you for this review! Been trying to decide which brand to get for a first pair. These and the Sure Grip Boardwalks have been my top 2 options.

I'd go w/ these over suregrip Boardwaks if you want more padded ankle support. Very little padding/almost zero in the boardwalks which might be uncomfortable to start. The sure grip fames are a good alternative to these if you want more options

I just tried these skates on today! I actually wanted Chaya but couldn't find any local places w/ them so someone recommended these. I currently have the Sure Grip Fames which I LOVE!! So I really just wanted a pair for indoor use so I don't have to keep switching out wheels. So things I noticed right away - The wheels they come with Atom Pulse Lite are GREAT outdoor wheels plus I like that they are 62mm, perfect for me!. Quality wheel that retail for like 75 bux...so that alone is great!! The axle / trucks are solid for the price point. I love that they fit my foot perfectly unlike my fames which I had to size up. the cobolt blue is GORG!!! so my concerns- the boot material just gives me pause in terms of durability if you plan to use outdoors...hmm I do wonder. Also, like she says these are a stiffer (. read more ankle support boot) and for me this is perfect as a 6 month skater. The price is on point for the quality (akin to sure grip fames quality). All and all these are my 2nd pair of skates and I really enjoy them. I would for sure buy again. I hope they make a line in the future that is a faux leather or leather boot just so I won't worry as much about damage for outdoor use. For readers , another good brand that few folks review is VNLA!! they have a great parfait and luna line....solid skate

i just got these skates but in light blue and i love them alot. theyre so comfortable and i added pink wheels and laces :D

I’m upgrading to Jackson Vistas from Impalas. The Imps served me well, but no adjustable toe stop; minimal adjustment to trucks; Hybrid 82A wheels, which are difficult on rougher pavement. Can’t wait to get my JV’s in a few more days!!

These seem great now I’m stuck between these and the moonlights. For my own selfish reasons maybe consider getting moonlights for your alternate pair and do a comparison review. They’ve gotten pretty good reviews from what I can tell and they’re a black owned company and women owned.

Well, you never know, I'm in the market again to buy new skates. But I have heard some things about Moonlight in terms of quality which is a HUGE negative on my end. I really need quality skates because I'm not really a casual skater. My Jacksons have lasted and I'm almost going on a year. Plus any posts I've seen on Jacksons have been positive. That's not to say they aren't out there but the overwhelming majority has been positive.I believe if you are a casual skater or beginner then I think Moonlights will be perfect.

Btw, you want that ankle support. I'm with you. If that wasn't an issue for me I'd get some inlines.

Just got mine in the mail today in Teal . Was so surprised at how well made they are verses the ones we used to wear at rink in middle school ( the rental skates ) so the fact that these have padding and are sturdy is fantastic. What do you suggest for an indoor wheel ?

Congrats on the new skates! Hope you've gotten a chance to break them in. For indoor wheels, it depends on what you are planning to do. I've had Rollerbones 98A and my most current wheels that I Iove are the Fomacs Premier wheels. These wheels are great for sliding and feeling like you are skating on ice!

How do you find the height of the ankle in the back? I’ve tried on a size too small for me and found I couldn’t point in them without the back digging in to the back of my leg. Hoping this is solved when I size up! Thanks for the review!!! 🥰

Hi! I would think sizing up with help, like you said. If that's an issue, maybe even trying skates without the boots like Bont or a speed skate type. Hope this helps!

I didn't have a problem with sizing. I don't think there were half sizes so it was true to your nearest shoe size. So I typically wear an 8.5 to 9 so I went with a 9. I also measured my feet to be accurate.

hey hun your wheels sound like they are a bit too loose .. wouldn't want one to come off as you're skating :/

Thanks for your concern. They are loose on purpose. I like them loose since they improve my overall flow. I've tried them tight and it just doesn't work for me. I haven't had any issues with wheels flying off yet. 😂

It’s a good idea to keep the wheels just a slight wiggle loose and to loosen the trucks instead. You will get that nice flow you are looking for. Also! Can’t say enough about powerdyne bushings!! Get the red ones if you want bounce- I use mine outside to bounce over debris. The orange ones are medium density and good for indoor skating.
