So from what I understood from this MV: Jackson had a girl he loved very much, she's the main reason he enjoyed a colorful & outstanding life. Due to the girl's passing from accident, Jackson blamed himself, fell into depression, wasted his life away with alcohol, fights, & troubles. He eventually snapped out of it & returned to 'normal' life. But because the reason for his being different is gone, Jackson blends into the boring society just like any other bland person (as symbolized by beginning of video where everything & everyone was mostly in black, white, & gray). He now wears a fake mask of smiles while hiding his grief, but would always remember his love & hangs on to the memory of her to continue with life

May I add something that I’ve realised about Jackson Wangs heartfelt music. I just yesterday found out about his music and I’m not familiar with anything yet but as someone unbiased I may have something figured out: I was wondering why I feel his music on another, deeper level and it hit me: because he is a deeply passionate human being in any sense . Perhaps you’ll connect this to his musicality only but it’s more than that I feel like. I’ve come to notice that he uses different variations lyrics than other stereotypical slowish joints we are used to in this genre. To top that he also seems to be talented in the field of acting too and that adds more accuracy to the emotions he portrays and delivers. This, at least for me, is a reason to stay tuned for his future project’s.

watching this mv and I kinda get it. anyone who lost a loved would understand that sometimes you are at a point in your life where you thought being miserable is better because life is so unfair so you try to punish and blame yourself. but at some point you’ll just… stop? you’ll get tired and realize that maybe this is not the life your loved one wanted for you so you get back on your feet and start a new life. which is why the mv was reverse to show that the new you doesnt mean you’ve let go of the past and pain but you carry it with you forward. because sometimes time doesn’t heal old wounds, you just try to make it bearable every day. ANYWAY LOTS OF LOVE TO JACKSON!!!

Jackson is so good at putting so much emotion into his songs with just how he sings but also his choice of lyrics. However, This song every time I listen to it brings chills and tears to my eyes!! So proud! Amazing song!

Jackson's extraordinary artsist. The way he's involved with his projects: from composing, writing and singing to directing the MV, creating storyline, paying attention to the performance and acting. There is not many like him. He's really special. And being with him on this journey is a delight because no matter what I know he will never disappoint me. He creates music he likes and since I guess my taste is similar to his I love all his songs without exceptions. Drive You Home is as amazing as I expected it to be: from the simple yet direct song, through his wonderful vocals to beautiful, as always captivating MV. I'm so proud of you, Jacks.

Jackson is raising the bar, he keeps challenging himself, everytime he proves that he is one of a kind, the amount of pain, emotions that his voice shows, the stories that he tells in his MV, I just can't find the words the describe what his work makes me feel, he is definitely the best idol out there, I can't help falling for the person that he is becoming and being proud of him, we all are glad and blessed to have him, and to enjoy the art he makes

Jackson is such a good actor. I remember when he said he wanted to act in an action movie and honestly it would suit him, his expressions are amazing. This MV is a like movie and it portrayed the story so well. The song is so deep "so who's gonna drive you home, when you had a crazy day, who's gonna dry your eyes" These lines hit me hard. I am now sitting here with tissues. JACKSON WANG THAT WAS INSANE. I CAN'T STOP CRYING, THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL.
