OK...I'm putting this out there...a collaboration between Jacky and AFI. All of that amazing talent has to be combined into a monumental and historic piece of rock heaven on Earth! Can you imagine Jacky and Jade Puget trading riffs, and Jacky's incredibly harmonic shredding over top Jade's power lines, with Davey Havoc providing his incredible and diverse vocals, driven by the rest of AFI! And I am a fan of of FIR, but have to admit I definitely prefer the songs that highlight Jacky and the awesome supporting band (and that includes Ron Ficarro!). For those who have never met Jacky - Jacky on this DVD is the real Jacky. Only in real life he is even nicer and funnier - I couldn't have more respect for him as a person and a truly gifted musician.

I. Am. Getting. This. Surely some of the lessons taught will be able to translate into brass instruments... Is a guitar solo really that different from a trumpet mariachi solo? (Yes, yes it is. But this looks amazing!!)

Absolutely hate the band, but I have massive respect for Jacky as a player. Super underrated, mostly because of the band he's in.

***** He plays in one of the biggest modern day post-hardcore bands in the music scene, so he's certainly not underrated. Especially since he's been recognised for his talents and been nominated for awards. He also ended up winning one in 2012 (only a year after the band released their debut album). A lot of people who dislike FIR only ever talk about Jacky's playing ability. I don't know how you see him as an "underrated" player just because he's in a band that you don't like?

Do you see people comparing him to Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Rusty Cooley? No, he's a hugely underrated player in the world of metal, mainly because of the band he is being tied down by

***** He's only been playing with the band for 4 years and Falling In Reverse have been the reason why he's been recognised as a great guitarist, hence why he's been nominated for awards. His first solo album featured Michael Angelo Batio and Paul Gilbert. Bet that came as a surprise to you...

you're right.. fir has the most unique style of music. n they draw a line between pop and screamo.. so reason why they get all mixed comments.. but if the band was really so "shitty", it would have not become a mainstream band only after an year of their debut album's release!! :)

Austin Barrett look at where they're from. accents will be the same. not like these two artists are born and raised in the US. They have British accents as do lots of the artists in todays metal scene. atreyu and bullet for my valentine good examples just my opinion i'm no expert but i feel this contributes to your opinion in jacky and ben sounding the same as far as voice i realize you don't mean playing. hope this helps lol
