It’s like boring and repetitive montes solos all have more personality and like flavor to them they’re like screaming at you and singing but jacks are boring like loops of just fast shredding and the Melodie’s that sometimes form sound so rushed and generic so montes just are so much better

It's pointless to say that someone is "better" at playing guitar than someone else. They're both completely different guitarists with completely different styles, Jacky has more of a neoclassical shred style while Monte has more of a bluesy shred kind of guy that sticks to playing within a form of a major scale. They're both great guitarists. I can't choose.

Jacky! When he plays the guitar you just have to rock out to it. His beat goes so well with the music that is unbelievable. You will never know what jacky throws at you with his guitar it's something every time

Fast does not equal good. Also, look up Tosin Abasi or literally any guitarist in any black metal band ever and you'll find someone faster. Vincent plays fast, but lacks any sort of cadence or expression in his playing.

I think they're both incredible guitarist. I think Jacky takes the cake when it comes to skill but who sounds better is very subjective bc they sound different. They play different axes with different effects and with different people on the bass and drums.

I prefer monte cause he actually has awesome solos. I hate listening to solos that all sweep and shredding. But Jacky has some cool solos.

Check out Jacky's solo stuffs. And if you only hear sweeps in this video, than give more concentration. Jacky's an awesome logatto player, economy picks flawlessly, and I like them both.

Going to have to vote jacky, he has a great amount of control for the speed he is emitting in his various forms of techniques and also his melodic side which can be seen in his own album. but that's simply my opinion

I think they are both about equally amazing, but I agree that I think that its hard to compare them bc they each play different styles like Monte plays a diffrerent kind of post hard core that adds rock, pop punk, and metalcore styles and Jacky is more post hard core.

I love FIR and ETF, i heard all of their songs. And i choose Jacky. Why? Because Jacky had more soul, character, big guitarist charismatic, and of course speed.
