Atlas tool-less guide rod, and EGW .332 keyed reverse plug. It'd work great. Fixing the safety should be easy if you pop it out and tighten the tongue on the left side so it's tighter

Thanks for the review and the honest opinion on the highs and lows of the Jacob Grey TWC 9. In regards to the stovepipe, I believe to prevent that from occurring possibly use a ZeroTechOptic Thrive HD which is what comes in online bundle with the firearm (looks to be set back more form the ejection port). But I have no clue if the ZeroTech is as good as the Trijicon. Look forward to the comparision reviews you have mentioned and the performance during matches. Beautifully machined. I love the way the it looks.

Nice review Guy! I have a couple of helpful hints here, hope you don't mind. First, I tried tp stop you from using the hex key to push the slide stop pin out, but then again there is just about as much chance of you hearing me as there is a chance for a non cleared gun firing a bullet thru the wires and truu my screen here. (Gotta love the Tube)! I was afraid it would scratch the finish on the gun and indeed it did remove the bluing from the end of the pin. GRRRRR!. My bank and most give pens away at the counter and they are perfect for pushing the stop pin out. No maring. I also really like the Atlas Gun Works 10 buck tool for removing the pin and the thumb safety. Low cost and very handy. (Besides, if you can afford such fine works of art, you an afford a 10 buck tool. Stop cheaping out)!!! 😁 But the number one hint is a link I will include here from a Vid Adam at Atlas did on getting the trigger pull you want. No work needed on the trigger, sear or hammer It is all in the Leaf spring and how to adjust it properly so that it stays where you set it. It will adjust both the trigger set and trigger pull separately. You an get either however you prefer. ;

Good morning Mr.Blackson hope all is well!! Not sure about the JG, I mean it looks pretty decent and that's definitely the nicest cardboard box for a pistol I've seen so far. I'm kinda a box guy. Really for that money it should already be with a tool-less guide rod. On another note I'm snagging up a SIG p365 AXG LEGION and I'm pretty excited! Will be our first all metal framed pistol, I don't even have it yet and I'm looking at Lok grips for the legion. I just want a legion coin to flip in the air to be honest. 😜 Have a good week!!

Jordon!! Good morning. All is well. I hope all is well with you and your family. We are box guys. I could see if the guide rod was a machining hurdle or something super expensive. These two piece guide rods don’t make any sense. Overall though a great built gun. I see some great work coming from Jacob Grey. Oh yeah!! The Legion!! Great pick and the Lok grips too. That is going to be a sweet setup. Looking forward to your review on it and the legion coin 😁. Thanks for watching. Have a great week too.

good review, I have a TWC9 as well and really like shooting it. I had issues with my ambi safety and contacted JG They took care of it right away. I actually had them change it to a single side safety and like that much better. While I'm not a fan of the 2 piece guide rod it doesn't bother me and hasn't been a issue for the 1000 some rounds through it so far.

Thank you for showing how to field strip and reassemble this gun! If it wasn't for you, it would still be in pieces on my kitchen table. The manual is useless! Will the tool-less guide rod require any fitment or can a non- mechanical guy like me plug and play? Also, after a shooting session, my right side thumb safety lossened like yours. Have you addressed it yet? Love your content! You and 2a-n-la run the DS 1911/2011 game!

Good video as usual. I got this gun when it first came out. I love the look of it. It shoots pretty well. The only big issue for me is how smooth the grip is. The construction is so solid though. The guide rod is also a pain. Not sure why the mfg. don’t use a tool less guide rod like you said.

Jeff!! Good morning!! I appreciate your feedback. It’s always good to hear the experience of other owners. I thought the grip would be issue for me but it actually worked out. I hope you had a great weekend.

I notice all your range shooting - all guns have lights. Do you ever shoot both with and without the light to see which feels better? I found on my PDP F that the light really destroys the balance and ruins the shooting experience.
@teamblacksmithllc
@teamblacksmithllc 23 күн бұрын
@therathman I did shoot with and without when I first started shooting. Some of my guns really don’t need a light but I just came accustomed to having one on them now. It gives me more leverage and control especially for competitive purposes. I have lights on my EDCs for home defense but take the light off when I conceal carry.

@@teamblacksmithllc mine was almost a burn down type of shooting. One mag right after the other as fast as I could shoot the targets in the A zone. So I assume the heat was a contributing factor. Obviously not relevant in a self defense situation.

Guys kill me with these reviews.. Why is it always static shooting on an indoor range? Get on the gas! How does this thing run when pushing the shot splits, hot, dirty, sweaty hands.. The safety wiggle is the male/female connection. Left side (male) seats in the right (female). This is easily fixed by tightening up the gap of the female side. You don’t have to push the guide rod up that far to start the threads. Just hold it in place with your thumb down by the barrel link. Slide the long section in and thread. Easy… Does the trigger have post and pre travel set screws? Are you not able to tell if the internals are MIM or not? Many claim they are MIM which is not co in my opinion..

Hey my brother!! Straight and to the point. The walls on the sides of the lanes cause a lot of the vibration with the audio. Some of my guns I shoot in competitions. This one I will be getting out there soon to see its full performance capabilities. I appreciate the advice on my two issues. The two piece guide rod is just an annoyance but I will try it your way. As far as the internals being MIM parts, I am not 100% sure on that one. I will take a closer look and compare it to my Prodigy internals. Thanks again. Appreciate it.
