Jacob Gurevitsch - Lovers in Paris
Scenes from Midnight in Paris, directed by Woody Allen.
Jacob is a Danish guitarist. "Since his pre-teens Jacob has been pluggin' jazzguitars, rockguitars, soulguitars and many others into all kinds of amplifiers.
When he joined the legendary danish hippie group Savage Rose in 2002 he was asked to pick up the spanish guitar.
He immidiatly found a new friend. They hung out together from the first day. The spanish guitar moved into Jacobs appartment and his life.
They went to Rio de Janeiro, Stockholm, Paris and Buenos Aires together. Jacob wrote new material together with his partner the spanish guitar.
This deep friendship has resulted in music with passion from the south mixed with electronic flavours from the north."

I just received flowers from a man I had met just this one day. A different country, foreign city, evening club, and live music had happened. We walked the streets all night, and watched the sun rise over a sleeping city - Shillong - they call it the Scotland of the east! I was sad the past few days, and life sent me roses from almost a stranger, and this song came to my mind! My friends and I call him Midnight in Shillong!!! But so relatable to this movie!!!

@@zzZ-el7un no...we exchanged socials and talked over the phone after that. I came back to Bangladesh, and he stayed back in India. On a specific day, he sent me flowers to my home, and my father received the flowers and was pleasantly surprised that someone sent me flowers from another country whom I only met once. We planned and talked about meeting again, but it never happened. I don't think it ever will, since we sort of drifted apart throughout the years. I think he has a family now. And I have a busy schedule. Life happens in glimpses only sometimes.

I wish you to reach again Paris with the right person and turn your bad memories into good ones. This city deserves only good emotions. I will definitely go there again and try to live again those positive moments Paris gave me. I simply fell in love with this city, like a man falls in love at the first sight with a woman. And this music by the way suits the atmosphere so well.

I absolutely love your music, Jacob. Interesting journey how you came upon to play such music. It suits you very well. And, of course, us too! I can't wait to hear more of it, new songs.
