Safety locks are a great thing. If you're planning on pairing one with a pendant you need to know that it can be a pain due to the width of the lock itself. Some jewelers will charge a lot for custom bails. A good tip would to know the width of your lock beforehand. It helps getting a quote much easier and efficient (price wise). Just know going into it that most pendants aren't built for that type of width. Anything is possible if you're willing to pay as well as wait for alteration on a pendant. Thanks for watching!

Definitely listen to Braden when he says plan your setup before hand. Got a 22 inch chain with a massive pendant on it. Not it’s hard for me to add to it, it’s right in the middle of my chest so my only option is going really high up on my neck with a second chain, but I don’t like chains that tight. Next time get a 20 inch and a 24 inch if you think you might want more chains in the future.

I have a pendant that doesn't require. Sliding over the clasp it opens. So you can put it on any chain without even taking the chain off. Crazy

Yup! Had problems with both pendants. Had to either get one pendant bail cut and put on the chain and the other I just had to get a bail that was already made lol

If its a miami cuban they can cut the “cuban link “part and slide the pendant in , but then you can never take it out only the jeweler can . Cost me 10$ .

For me, a chain that has a box lock is a chain that can worn on its own, without any pendant. The type of chain that needs this type of lock stands out enough on its own and I prefer to wear it by itself, i'd rather put a pendant on a smaller chain to make it stand out

Yeah the shorter chain length with a pendant is cool. That’s if an 18 inch fits you well without being too tight.

This is part why i like lobster claws better. And if you have a big chain with a nice box lock you shouldnt need a pendant. Get a smaller chain for pendant... And yea you said it as i was typing this ;) smash ma faker!!!
