I was 100% expecting to see a comment just like this. Germans seem to be very kind to people who are learning the language, so I definitely expected to see some people complimenting this considering he's not even trying to learn the language just a specific tongue twister in a language he doesn't know.

As a german speaker, I have not heard a non-german speaker *this* good in years, no scratch that, *ever* . At times I was sure you _could_ actually speak the language. And it being a tongue twister as well. Absolutely delightful to watch.

He only had 2 Words that somehow where a bit misspronounced, even though i think that Rhabarberbarbaren was just out of the heat. Only word he really misspronounced was Städtchen. And im astouned

As a native German as well I entirely agree. This was almost flawless, the only thing that wasn't a 100% was "Städtchen", but even that was understandable. And that's a hell of a word to learn for anyone who isn't native in our language. Holy moly!

Which is very German. When those people don't understand you speaking German then shout in German. (once joined a travel group to Paris, saved a poor metro employee from their "ZEHNERKARTE!!!???" - yelling and then decided to avoid them like the plague for the rest of the trip. Hope they did not reserve him for the next day by throwing bath towels at him.

German is my first language and I know that our language IS difficult. You did that very good! (I often have to sing arias in italian despite not speaking italian. Singing in a foreign language is surprisingly easier than actually speaking the language. 😅)
