I disagree with the fact that you have to figure out your happiness on your own. He could have helped her figure out how to get the help she needed. She needed to go on a spiritual journey, and redefine what it meant to be happy. She was looking for happiness when what she really needed was peace and internal tranquility.

And, he enjoyed every moment of it! Will created this situation. He knew Jada wanted and preferred Tupac. He got her pregnant to force a marriage and to save face from being divorced from his first wife. Will has forced his fantasy of the perfect life on his entire family. Willow complained she never wanted a career in Hollywood. Jayden said the same thing. Their father forced it all on them. And, when they failed, he left them to take all the blame for failing at what they never wanted in the first place. The hatred most people harbor against black women worked in Will's favor. The fact that people rather idol worship Will Smith instead of looking at him critically is the highest level of not holding a black man accountable of his bad behavior.

My opinion is based on my view of the situation from a public “show”. I don’t feel that she is sincere. Her perspective has appeared to change to mollify the publics opinion at different times. As I say, my opinion. I don’t wish to upset anyone or disagree with anyone. These are my views.

Will & Jada have a non-traditional marriage. I think that they are both wounded people with serious emotional problems. Since I am the product of a happy, two parent marriage, I can't imagine being in their marriage. I have never been married because I realize that I don't have the qualities that would make a good wife. I am a quirky, introvert with a low libido. I also think that Will and Jada don't have the qualities that would make a good marriage. I think that they never should have gotten married. I would hate to be in their shoes. They both need serious counseling.

I read Will's biography. He places a high value on marriage and having a sound marriage and being a good father. Jada had different ideas around marriage that werent aligned with Will's values. Just my perception, but I believe Will caved in and accepted Jada's approach to his and her relationship even though it truly isn't what he wanted. He seems like he has people-pleasing tendencies toward the women in his life that don't serve him. He sacrifices what he wants to keep the peace. Will has his problems, but I think he's a good person at heart.

I think that as human beings, in relationships, we always put people in a good guy, bad guy box, even when we all know how complicated relationships are. That's just us projecting our own crap on others. I hated everybody making her the bad guy when clearly Will was dealing with his own personal trauma. He even mentioned some it in his speech. He felt he never protected his mother from his dad beating her( he has said this in past interviews). We need to listen to what people are saying to us. They are usually communicating these things in some way.

Well said: "I wanted to make a masterpiece out of our connection, he wanted to make a masterpiece of life." Will Smith always wanted to stay relevant in front of the global audience in oder to be loved by everyone. He went to great lengths to keep us entertained. But it didn't make his relationship better. In order for that to become better, he needed to slow down and listen to her feelings. After some time, she decided that's not going to happen and ended it.

Because she is lying. They probably separated very recently, after the slap, because of how she was dragged as a consequence of what Will did at the Oscars. A narcissist like her would not stand to be dragged through hell for someone else's mistake. She is not capable of standing by him like he tried to stand by her, because she is a narcissist. Her lies as well are in line with what a narcissist would do to save their reputation.. dragging someone else, if it would help to elevate them. She is a very sad woman, but it's all for the best, finally Will is going to be free of her

It takes a stong person to admit their mistakes and show heartfelt remorse It even involves accepting correction from all sources even if it's not said in a kind way or the way we would have liked. If you go in the opposite direction, a prideful, set in your ways, negative person thinking you're innocent, ultimately you set yourself up for disaster. A mental, emotional and physical breakdown leading to sickness and early death On the other hand if you respond favourably you can enjoy good friendships, a good name, a younger fresher face, good health, happiness, joy and contentment and a much longer life

I love your content and the questions you ask are so real it produces relevant answers and even gives more context to the actions a lot the people you invite on. As for me personally I don’t despise Jada but I believe that she’s taking the world upon herself and so much so it’s deluded her to the people she’s harming most notably Will. Just going off the pictures of them over the years it strongly suggests she’s taking a lot of energy from Will. These are my assumptions though and my personal bias. Overall, I hope her and Will seek proper help in their personal lives which need not be made public.
@NSW333

People seem to forget they are both actors and Will has consciously and purposefully acted a relationship scenario out for the public’s viewing. It’s foolish and misogynistic for everyone to run to Will’s aid based on an act whilst continuing to slay Jada. Typical social standing, but utterly foolish and ridiculous at the same time. You said it yourself, ‘personal bias’. I think a lot of people are in denial about accepting anything less than the persona Will Smith has sold for a few decades now.

I do not know either of these amazing people. This woman and her husband are both amazing performers that I have loved watching since I was an adolescent. I do know that their marriage and the details of it were never ever ever the business of the friggin public. The public wanting to know everything about the personal lives of famous people is a good part of why they can not have long lasting relationships. I also know that if someone said something at a formal dinner party designed to embarrass and belittle my wife in front of all of the other guests present just to get a laugh, I'd probably smack the shit out of them too. Not saying it's necessarily the right thing to do legally, but I know my wife would appreciate knowing I'd never stand by and allow someone to treat her like some cheap party trick or some crappy hand buzzer just to get a laugh out of everyone around her.

I’m sure there were best intentions behind having an episode featuring this particular guest, but I really don’t see what anyone can take away from this. Two broken people, one who from the outside appears to have gone so far down the path of vindictive narcissist there may be no turning back, and the other an outwardly successful achiever who for whatever reason allowed himself to become a hopeless enabler. I struggled my way to the 10 minute mark of this clip but could not stomach any more. Perhaps the final 6 minutes that I didn’t watch contained some constructive and insightful conversation but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen enough.

I don’t understand all of the hate and negative comments towards her. IMO she is one of very very few celebrities who is being truly authentic. I am sure many celebrities wit a traumatic childhood past have experienced similar thoughts of a lack of self worth but they don’t express it publicly (and maybe not even to themselves privately) for fear of how it might damage their already fickle careers in Hollywood. Add to that she is/was married to a mega blockbuster movie star, people don’t understand that just the fame and money cannot buy you self-worth. And if you lack self-worth, none of those material things truly matter. Also, she and Will both readily admit that they both came from childhood trauma. It’s believable that they married each other as a way to plug holes in their emotional lives that they were both harbouring..and without healing their own traumas within themselves first. Marriage can be hard..it doesn’t have to be and it isn’t always in every marriage, but it can be. It takes two emotionally healthy and mature people to build and maintain a healthy and truly loving marriage. Just because Will is a successful actor and a seemingly great father … doesn’t necessarily mean that he is a great husband. Let’s cut him some slack..Will can’t be great at everything, he’s only human and maybe being a great husband or the husband that Jada needed at different stages of her life was just not his forte. Likewise, let’s give her a break and STOP making her responsible for Will’s public image, good or bad.

It is apparent to me that Jada is willing to accept harsh judgement from the collective in order to be the messenger of the uncomfortable truths of life. For example, by sharing her deeply personal relationship failures, her experiences validate the fact that expecting your partner or external validations to be the source that provides your happiness is false and absolutely the wrong expectation. Furthermore, it is only you who has that kind of power to fill that space with the true feelings of pure satisfaction and happiness in life.

That woman has no idea what love is. Use every single chance given to shade Will. Hard to watch.

Bless you Jada 🙏🏾 I hear you, I feel you!!! It’s oh so, not easy recognising the things that need addressing in our lives on an individual level, & then living all that goes with that on the public stage - kudos to you, the utmost respect to you & Will, keep on keeping on..! Love this, thanks for sharing 💞🙌🏾

Am fascinated by all those comments as if most here were in Jada and Will couple's bed, mind and heart. I only see a lady candidly sharing her journey of working on herself. Or do you prefer Amber's approach?

Same! I am a Virgo as well and the worst thing you can do with us is not connect emotionally. What she’s saying resonates. If this were Drew Barrymore or Gwyneth Paltrow she’d garner sympathy and praise for being so emotionally aware, articulate and conscious.

These comments are sad. Will Smith spent 20plus years presenting a perfect marriage/life to the world. Everyone buys his lies without question. He plays the nice guy in movies and on tv. He can't possibly be a narcissist. Well, we watched him force his young son into a career that he didn't want. Jayden complained about Will Smith and got black balled as a nepo baby. Will said he never wanted to divorce agan and didn't care that Jada was in tears at the wedding because she didn't want to get married. Yet, still no one wants to believe Jada! Yes, she had an inappropriate relationship with August. But, Will gave them his blessing. He preferred to be perceived as a cuckold, and play the victim than to divorce his wife! The wife that he got pregnant to force her hand in marriage. He's so good at his role, everyone around him is seen as those who failed him, and he's the poor good dude who can't catch a break. Absolute bulls**t.
