Thanks Jim! Sounds like you've got a cool project coming up :) I am not sure if the parts will fit, but if you can adjust the frame slightly, you can make anything fit!

Hi, I like the video and will most definitely be buying the seat and frame loop in the near future but just out of curiosity what rear blinkers did you switch to and do you still plan on selling your tail light/license plate bracket in the future?

Thanks for the support! The rear blinkers are some min LED ones that I bought from a local store. But they are available online at many places as well. Search 'Devil Eyes Micro-Mini LED Indicators'. We decided not to do the tail light bracket because we realised it sucked riding without a rear guard - wet and dirty ass from the rear wheel. So the best is to install one of our universal guards and attach the tail light to that. That is what we ended up doing :) Cheers

Not sure man, but have sold over 100 seats to Spanish, Portuguese and German (have ITV, TUV for example) and no one has had a problem!

where can I buy one of these kits, my Yamaha is the 2002 SR250 classic. Do you have brown or tan for this model? Great video, by the way, thanks.

hey, i want to customize my sr 250 special 1991 and i thought that (Yamaha SR 250 Bolt On Styling Kit - Seat + Frame Loop + Tank Kit) could be a good idea to buy it but my question is: i want to cut the frame the same way that you cut in this video, but i don't know if the seat of this jadus kit will be sitted ok. i think that it will sit well but before to make that buy i want to be sure. And the second question: my sr 250 special is from 1991 and i'm from spain and i don't know if i have to chose frame model sr 250 special 80'-84' or frame model sr 250 classics and spanish models 85'-02'. Thanks and sorry for my english.

Hey buddy, there will be no problems installing the kit on a 1991 model SR250. If you bought your SR in Spain it was very likely manufactured in the Spanish Yamaha factory and would therefore have a late style frame - meaning you would order the kit for the Spanish models :) Let us know if you have any more questions, cheers!

To install the curve at the end of the chassis, do you have to cut 35 millimeters from the original chassis?

Correct. The SR250 Classics frame tubes are about 35mm longer than the SR250 Specials.

I want to convert my klr250 to scrambler but I don't know where to start.

The internet is a big place my friend, start by reading what others have done would be our advice! Unfortunately for the time being, we have parts that fit the SR250 and not a KLR.

If you don't find one, you might have to design and make one - many custom bike builders do this :)

Probably that's the best option 😩 I was thinking about do it myself, because is an old bike I have it for 4 years and now if I want to sell it the price is very low. That's why instead of selling I want to convert it.
