Thank you so much for liking. I would like to clarify the following, because from your comment I deduced that you think I am the owner, but I am not. I'm just the channel's producer and I make the recordings with my wife Gabriela, in the different properties. If you notice, there are videos here of several owners and not just this JAF. As for the corrals, there are several and distributed over different properties. Some more recent, but others with few changes. The most recent ones are easier to work with and with better conditions, but we intend not to change them in order to maintain the tradition. The way of working with the cattle is also maintained as it was a few years ago. During the summer we are visited by tourists who like to see it in the most rural way possible. Although these jobs are done only with the men who help and work on the property now in winter, in summer there are parties and bullfights in the streets and so at that time tourists come to see how the bulls are put in the cages in order to be transported to the place of the bullfight, where they run for 20 minutes each and then return here to the pastures. As I mentioned, you can see this on the other channel. Once again, very grateful to be here watching our work in the field with these wild animals. A hug to the whole family, stay safe and well.

Ya probé el sistema automático, que sería mucho más sencillo y rápido, pero nosotros aquí en las islas Azores, aunque somos portugueses, tenemos un acento muy complicado y el sistema no reconoce el habla y pone subtítulos incorrectos. Es muy diferente a lo que dicen. Por eso nos disculpamos pero no nos gustaría poner subtítulos incorrectos. No son del todo incorrectos, pero la mayoría de las veces las palabras no tiene sentido. Los hombres hablan muy rápido y muy diferente del portugués correcto como se habla en Lisboa y otras partes del continente portugués. En este canal no subimos videos muy a menudo, pero mientras tanto te puedo sugerir el otro que casi a diario pone videos de las corridas de toros en la calle, quizás te guste. Olá, bom dia, desculpe o atraso da resposta. Esta raça chama-se Raça Brava dos Açores. Existe aqui há centenas de anos. Existem outras raças por cá, já cruzados, mas aqui ainda estão oriundos dessa raça que foi trazida para cá e é descendente do antigo touro Auroque Europeu. Esta raça produz touros mais pequenos, mas são mais rápidos e cansam menos, por isso usados nas tradicionais touradas nas ruas, que pode ver no outro canal Gabriela Cultura & Tradições. No entanto já correm touros nas ruas provenientes de outras raças cruzadas e de vários sementais oriundos de diversos proprietários portugueses e espanhóis. Embora cruzados, todos agora são catalogados como Raça Brava dos Açores, o que penso que não deveria ser, mas quem manda é que sabe, eheh. Um abraço, muito obrigado. Já sabe, se quiser ver os touros nas festividades das ruas é no canal Gabriela Cultura & Tradições, onde também tem algumas coisas sobre festas e outras actividades tradicionais que por cá se fazem.
