Jag F Type upgrade your 8” screen to the newer 10” screen with Android Auto/Carplay!!
I contacted lr-retrofits.co.uk and they came and upgraded my 2017 (MY 2018) Jaguar F-Type infotainment screen from the old 8" to the new 10" giving me android auto and apple car play as well!
They also enabled all of the Driver Assistance Features for me!!

Great update! Notice how your Carplay is so much dimmer/grey than the Jaguar screens? It's a bug with the iPhone. In sequence, press vol up, vol down, hold lock button until apple logo/reboot. Then on restart when you try carplay again it'll be more vibrant!

Thanks for the video, I want to do this to my XF, so I contacted the company but was told it couldn't be done to my Jaguar 😥

Fantastic video. I've been eyeing this upgrade for a while and it's nice to see it being done live. I'd like to know how different this is to the same screen being installed from factory. I understand Mo hasn't yet worked out how to keep dual climate controls, is this true? The bit about losing Climate, is that also the same if you got it like this fresh out of the dealership?
