Implementation of ISO System in the Company has to be the decision of top management of the company. So first of all you must take their approval to implement the system in your company. They will have to provide funds for the project. As a next step buy a copy of the ISO 9001 2015 Standard from Beuro of Indian Standards (BIS), "Manak Bhawan", 9- Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi. Graduation is more than enough educational qualification. You are already an Internal Auditor for last one year. That is enough to meet requirement of education qualification and work experience. You can participate in Lead Auditor course. To become a successful Auditor you need a good command over language. Just keep this in mind and go ahead.

Ronit goaldip ISO 22000 is the Food Safety Management System that can be applied to any organization in the food chain. Becoming a Lead Auditor to ISO 22000 would require practical experience. So please look for a job in food processing company or some related R&D organisation to gain some experience. It is better if the company is certified to ISO 22000. I am not aware about any books on this topic. You have to study the standard ISO 9001 2015 in detail.

First of all, you must look for a nice job and gain practical experience which is essential for becoming an auditor. After having 3 to 5 years of experience, you can go for Lead Auditor course. After that you will have to gain at least 20 days of audit experience under the guidance of a qualified Lead Auditor and gather Audit Logs. After reaching this stage you can look for an Auditor's job. It is a long journey, but surely worth trying. Wish you all the best.

It will be better if you go for Lead Auditor course after finishing B.Tech.

Quality is associated with all kinds of work, whether it is R&D, Design, shop floor, marketing or purchase. Wherever you work, you are associated with quality. So your work experience is always counted. You are quite eligible for doing Lead Auditor course. After you qualify as Lead Auditor, you have to carry out mandatory audits under the guidance of an experienced Lead Auditor and gather around twenty Audit Logs. After this you will become eligible to work as Lead Auditor. You will then have to look for a job with some Certification Body and start your career as an Auditor. I wish you a bright career as Audor, but please remember that there is lot of travelling involved and this profession has it's pros and cons.

You can surely become an ISO Auditor. If you complete graduation it will add value to your basic qualification. Auditors with higher qualifications are preferred.

You are already working in production department of some pharmaceutical company and have a very promising career in this field. Auditing is going to be an entirely different field where you will have to struggle hard to attain competence. But still if you are keen to become an Auditor you will have to first complete Lead Auditor course successfully and then work as trainee to complete necessary audit logs under some Lead Auditor. So the process is quite demanding in terms of time and expenditure. My suggestion to you will be to get sponsored by your company for completing Lead Auditor course and gain experience as Auditor while continuing with your current job. Subsequently you can look for job as an Auditor.

Yes please, you are eligible for ISO Lead Auditor course. After getting qualified you can empanel yourself with Certification Bodies for providing part time services. A number of Certification Bodies do take such services when they are short of regular employed auditors.

If your company is ISO certified, associate yourself actively in System implementation. Get nominated by your company for Lead Auditor course. If that does not work you can wait for some more years before doing the course at your own expense.

ISO Systems are applicable to all kinds of organizations including Engineering Colleges. I would suggest that you try to get sponsored for doing Lead Auditor course at the expense of your college, rather than spending your own money. After getting qualified as Lead Auditor you can become System Coordinator for the ISO system of your college. Life of a Certification Body Auditor is very tough as compared to the life of a Professor. It has to be your personal decision if you wish to opt for a busy and tough life of an Auditor, I have explained this aspect in detail in my videos. So the choice is yours. All I can say is that both the options are open for you. I wish you good success in whatever choice you make.
