Whats the pros and the cons between the d200 and d300. For big trips(to travel to Europe) what engine is better? And why?

Out of interest is this the same D200 MHEV as in the Jaguar XE? What kind of MPG/Range did you get? I can't decide between the more sporty P300 as i've always had petrol cars or getting a D200 if the fuel economy is better.

I had a P300 Velar. On a run, 36mpg. In town. 16mpg. Long term average for me, 18mpg. An SVR doesn’t do much different. Not the best engine.

@@Jsah11 Why what was wrong with the engine? Sounds pretty good MPG really I mean I have a Corsa automatic 1.4 at the moment and i'm lucky to get 35mpg although on the motorways she's about 40.

@@devon896 your economy doesn’t surprise. I mean the Velar efficiency was as expected but big diesels are nicer in these types of cars. If I had my time again I’d go for a D300. The killer in the Velar was 280 miles on a full 82 litre fuel tank.
