The Range Rover SVR is a class larger than the F-Pace. The Velar SVAutobiography (i.e. SVR) is the same vehicle dressed in Land Rover garb.

Can’t agree I have run RRSVR for a year, on Testing the Jag..I was struck by the handling it felt he better driving car, yes interior is not as good but we are talking 7/10 as opposed to 8/10. Looks subjective, but I personally feel Alfa always looks under wheeled, and the interior is 6/10 with appalling interaction. I have had the Alfa Quadrifoglio for two days test...it’s less comfortable than Jag, does not sound as good, and forget 0-60 it’s irrelevant in real world, what you don’t mention is the throttle response from 50-90 the Jaguar feels quicker as it’s instant acceleration..if off boast the Alfa is left for dead...

Great car, great vid - shame that the interior is slightly low rent lower down in the cabin. Hope they keep this car for the facelifted lineup with an improved interior befitting the price.

I never really understand why people would ask how an SUV would handle..it’s not about that...i had an Exige s2 240bhp before & loved it...now have RR Sport SVR & love it but not for handling it’s just fantastic for cruising on the motorway....but it’s a laugh on B roads as well...but only because it doesn’t really handle...

This is the best SUV out there in this segment. Its got a great warranty and in way more reliable than the Alfa Romeo four leaf clover. Plus in day to day driving, this SUV in a lot more fun than the Alfa Romeo or the underpowered Porsche Macan.

The downside of this car for me is the interior, which looks cheap. The iPace is far better and I hope that improved styling finds its way into other Jaguar models soon. I could live with the interior if I had that engine though.

Jag F pace SVR £70-£80K should not be compared with a Range Rover SVR £100-120K , Audi RS6 £89-£115K . This is to all reviews please compare like for like or at leased same price bracket BMW X3M , Audi RS4. Porsche Macan and even then you could then compare the deals on buying them as the retail price is irrelevant as most people buy on PCP

Jags are for drivers. Range Rovers are for posers. I own a 2023 F-Pace SVR. They are an awesome value, ownership and driving experience.

The only question anyone should be asking and debating the answer to, is why, when the world is becoming increasingly concerned about the environment, are manufacturers continuing to produce high performance SUV’s rather than spending the money on producing more lightweight efficient solutions? Jaguar made great gains with the iPace but this negates any of the positive press from the iPace.
