i got a white one, black looks sick too. congrats!! first month i couldnt sleep properly ended up driving it most nights at midnight. 3 months on I still only drive in sports/ race mode. Thats how good it is!!

Just got an F Type in black with the mag wheels. What a feeling to see those curves, the sound of the exhaust and the leather of the interior. The looks are deceiving. It is quite low in height and the rear end is pretty wide with those meaty tires. I moved from a M5 which is a great sedan but the F Type is what I would call a sports car. The F Type growls at startup but then is quiet. The M5 was just loud for the first 30 seconds. The neighbors did give me looks. I had two XF V8 models earlier and had no complaints. Great power and handling. The F-Type is just in a different league. You feel like you are wearing the car, not just sitting in it. Getting cold and I am sure snow is around the corner so can't wait for the warm weather.

Honestly, I prefer this over the new vantage. The vantage is beautiful but the engine sound is too much. Sounds like gurgling

The R actually sounds better than the SVR. The SVR has a lighter sound. The R sounds deeper and angrier.

For $60-65k there are low mileage 2015R models out there. Best year, RWD, probably the only one that will hold its value going forward. Mine was $107 MSRP, low miles, picked it up for under $60k. If it drops $5k or so a year now - BFD - cost of playing. I just work too hard to absorb a 50% hit though.Just a blast. It is not a Huracan or other supercar, but just falls under the category of FUN.
