Quick tip just for anyone else reading these comments, when you take off the plastic engine cover, before you try to lift it remove both the dipstick AND the oil filler cap, and that way the rubber overflow tray attached to the plastic engine cover won't become detached and need re-fitting every time you take the cover off ;-)

Yes brake fluid, clean resevoir with brake cleaner. Make sure you tap that skuttle tray down in the lip on the windscreen after fitting pollen filter.

Question, where that cowl meets the windshield on my '03 X, seems it's secured with double faced tape?? Was hard to remove and I see no way now rain can't get down into the workings and perhaps the cabin. From your video, i couldn't see if there is a factory weather strip or something similar to keep it water tight or am I concerned about nothing? I appreciate you input.

I get my air filters from Lepin. They look the same, but are much cheaper. :-)

Hi! Was your car juddering or jerking while driving? I own a Jaguar Xtype 2009 and suddenly it is jerking while accelerating. Tried to google it and some people say it might be the Air Filter.

Didn’t think You were the type to get your hands dirty. You do spoil her changing her filters yearly. But the engine one was more dirty than I expected after a year.

Be very carful not to pull the plastic trim out of the very thin slot it clips into. Impossible to get it clipped back in. Impossible to remove the wiper arms off the splined shafts too.

you didnt mention the fact that the wiper arms need to come off!!!

It’s the coolant you shouldn’t undo when hot 😂
