I've got the XE S. Like the tech updates on the review model compared to my 'old' one but it's a shame they've no longer got the V6S engine, face-lift looks good though. Hope they've improved the build quality, mine has had some irritating niggles which are simply not good enough for a car costing over 60k new and I say that as a longtime Jaguar enthusiast and previous XKR owner too. At lease they've offered the latest incontrol pro update for the original models too, no funky second screen like this one/the I Pace but that doesn't bother me. That said, I'm still tempted to sell it and buy an F Type SVR!

Brilliant video and great to see you doing car vids, car tech and photography. Love the Jaguar XE 2019 but wish it was an EV. The rear mirror screen is superb! Would love to see you do a video of Elon Musk's Tesla Model 3 RHD EV as I can guarantee you it is a car with a LOT of TECH! :)

Got one of the very first builds of this version and I love it. But in the first 10 seconds of the video you already say two very wrong things: "Jaguar XE 2019" but this is the 2020 Model Year facelift version "It's the most affordable saloon"... what about mazda, ford and countless other saloons way cheaper than the Jag?

Most affordable jaguar saloon, I meant the XE is the cheapest model they do. Also, this is considered the 2019. The Jag website lists it as that on the home page

To be honest I really don't care for the photo aspect of this video, I was more interested in the tech in this car which really you didn't go into much detail.

It would have to have the build quality of an Audi and the driving dynamics of a 3 series for me to consider this. I'm not sure that the facelifted XE has got this all important benchmark height.

Of course. the massive elephant in the room with this car is that there is no audio system, and my understanding from Jaguar is that it is not possible to fit one without ripping most of the consul out!

Also the touchscreen can't keep steady 30fps always dips to 8fps. Just that means that car is already outdated.

My dad's had the 2016 version since launch and it's never had a problem since and it's over 100,000 miles so I don't think it's a problem

We're brainwashed into thinking that German is better. Not my experience as I've had VW DSG gearbox nightmare and generally poor service from dealer. Jags are solid nowadays
