Jaguar XJR - Front Shocks Replaced

Went ahead and replaced the front shocks on this beautiful looking Jaguar. Noticed that when you drive the car over imperfections in the road you can hear or feel a clunking noise coming from the driver and or passenger side wheel area. Having experience working on these cars, I quickly narrowed down the issue to the front shocks needing replacement. So, I went ahead and replaced them with Blisten (OE) Equivalent shocks!
More stuff coming are coming for the Jaguar XJR..

Thanks for this video, very helpful and the catch can really caught my eye, would love to see more of this as I need to do the same and yours seems well thought out. Nice job!

Thanks Matthew, glad the video was of great help. I'll be doing the catch can on the black jaguar so I'll be doing an entire video on which catch can I have and how everything was installed.

Cool! Gonna do mine as soon as they get delivered , I couldn’t help but notice the oil catch can next to the intake is there a reason you have 3 Tubes? I just got one I’m planning on installing it when I do my intake

Instead of running two separate catch can I found one on amazon which allows the 2 hoses from both sides of the valve cover gasket to go directly into the can and the other one to feed into the hose rubbing underneath the intake or supercharger. A much easier and simpler installation

Never go under a car without the car being on a stand 💯 percent those jacks can fail.

I 100% agree with you, I wasn't underneath the car directly but I still could of been hurt. I'll be more careful next time! 💯👌🏻

Nice car, also have an XJR in mistral blue with the same wheels. First time I've seen an XJR without CAT's system. I read in a Jaguar document that it actually comes as standard. It may be that this is only the case here in Europe and the UK. One question: what is that device in front of the ECU compartment with the three hoses? 😇

Thank you, I greatly appreciate it!! I think so, there's probably slight differences in certain aspects of the car as well as the Jaguars from Europe, United Kingdom and those outside of the country in places like the United States (like mine, for example). That is the catch can that I have installed to catch as much oil from going into the stock air intake system on the jaguar. However, I will be putting out a video in the near future that will be explaining how I connected it, what is needed and how to route all the hoses for a neat install. This is a must for anyone, any car or any type of setup whether naturally aspirated, supercharged or turbocharged. Supercharged and turbocharged cars with a catch can benefit greatly from those which are naturally aspirated or an all motor setup.
