I have owned my 2007 XK for one day and a brake light is already gone lol! Going to replace it tomorrow so thanks for this! Just got a whining to diagnose and sort now on the passenger side that increases with revs even with the vehicle stationary, and is present with the radio and AC turned off. I'm thinking maybe a pulley bearing or something. Hopefully not the alternator or something bigger! This channel is going to be a huge help!

love the videos as always but when are you going to get your hands really dirty and tackle some underbody sealing just did my xk with lanoguard and brush on waxoyl not pleasant without a lift cheers

It might be good to know that later models have all LED’s on the tail light unit , there are no bulbs at all and if it breaks for some reason , you’ll need a whole unit. New would cost around £500 or find a place that can repair it or breakers yard. They still suffer from that green mold along the edges and water ingress.

Great video once again Paul. regarding the tailgate hitting the garage door, I had the same problem and did the same as you but what I have done is Taped a thick pad of bubble wrap in the correct location on the door and now every time I open the boot don't have to think about it. The paint finish on your car is stunning. what polish do you use and do you use a machine polisher?

Hi, I am in a position to buy an XKR. Assuming both cars (5.0 & 4.2) have been regularly maintained and driven reasonably what is each engine good for millage wise ? For example I can expect 250,000 miles from the diesel engine in my Merc. I have heard around 150,000 from these jag engines ?
