Highly | Lyrics
You are not a king
you are just a pawn
Scattering the seeds
from which the masses will be born
The Emphasis to place
on the space you put your tail
shows just the kind of weakness
that would cause a race the fail
where did you get it in your head
that’s the value are you possess
was determined by efficiency
of taking off my dress
Huh? who taught you
what it means to be a man
don’t blame the absence of a father
Blame the absence of a plan
blame the system
that would have you drugged
and sexing off for sport
blame the rich when you steal
then when they catch you
blame the court
blame the girls that told you yes
blame the girl that told you no
blame the girl that was your mother
blame it on the way you grow
So many things
you have the opportunity to use
as your excuse
when you lose but what if
all you had to do to win
what’s the learn
from the example of the king
But he don’t love highly
always on the low
Heart overfull
but he don’t want it to show
He don’t love highly
ever feeling down
draining the energy
when ever he around
He don’t love highly
So the chance is kind of slim
not taking no Time
to give Ises unto him
who is the light And the law
the truth and he way
So i can’t let him get to me
GQ pimp type hustling fly
helping himself
to the bulk of the pie
Never complained
when the sign did a show
now everything is crumbling
wouldn’t you know
Fast pace brain freeze
Sikkling Heart
Fearing a future
Before the start
Of the moves
that will lead him Astray
Unless Haile is leading the way
But he don’t love highly
always on the low
Heart overfull
but he don’t want it to show
He don’t love highly
ever feeling down
draining the energy
when ever he around
He don’t love highly
So the chance is kind of slim
not taking no Time
to give Ises unto him
who is the light And the law
the truth and he way
So i can’t let him get to me
For he don’t love highly
He don’t love highly
He don’t love highly
He don’t love highly
So he’s falling
I can’t let him get to me
No I can’t let him get to me
I can’t let him get to me
No I can’t let him get to me

Someone will say, 'I love'... Yes, they love, of course, but do they ask themselves about the nature of their love? Do they give a thought to the fact that there are two kinds of love: the self-serving kind and the disinterested kind? Disinterested love does not expect anything from others, it does not fret, it does not cling to them, and it does not trouble them. It is a gushing spring, which gives ceaselessly without being concerned about who will come to draw from it. It is pleased to share its water freely, whereas self-seeking love does the opposite, as it acts on others as a constraint, seeking only to take and bringing with it impatience, disappointment, anger, jealousy and anxiety. Disinterested love also avoids arguments, doubts and mistrust and establishes joy, beauty and hope. It is a new life working its way through, making people increasingly free, strong and happy. It is the path of resurrection. So now, ask yourself: which kind of love is yours?

This is what it TRULY means to be a strong black woman, right here. She demands that a black man fulfill his potential by picking his spirit up with intelligence- not putting him down with vulgarity like what they portray on the radio and the tv.

ist not only portrait für black men n not only on radio or tv. its the structure of partriarchy that is internalized over centuries legitimized by legends, stories, Picture of what it means to be a "real" man or Woman. its a strucutre of power. its a structure that was made to believed being "natural". characters, spirit, emotions, all Kind of Attributes were connected to male or female so tht idividulas could be judged. and unfortunalty women are much more juged negativly than men. its a double standard that has an effect on every single aspect of real everyday life which causes women real Problems but are excused by "cultural" or "natural" reasons. look at data, dig Deep in sociology. it fear of confronting our own privileges is normal. this fear of acknolidging is every priviliged groups Problem. u wont lose. u will gain.

Youve stated very good points within your statement. What Im bringing to your attention is the tactic in which it was presented. Similar hypothetical situation of attending a cancer awareness rally and stating the importance of pneumonia awareness. A pivot of focus. Both important topics but each needs its separate space for maximum focus. Not only does the message need to be clear but also the messenger. You as a strong white man has a profile picture of Tyson on coke. A low time in that strong black mans life right? You commented on this beautiful black womans artist song to redirect to a separate topic at hand. You are a white fan of tyson but represent that love for him with a picture at his low. The message and messenger was lost by your delivery timing and use of platform. Transparency is essential. All topics and focus should have room to be discussed without arguments. With no pivots or "Red Herring" for maximum awareness and transparency. If not there will be mixed signals on the singular topic at hand

The Empress is wise as always. When man was a little boy, her music made me understand that women deserve love and respect, and to find a quality woman whom you can depend on and explore endless possibilities of real love and sacrifice with, is a blessing from the most high which should be appreciated and worked on to be even more perfect in the long term.

Very spiritual Empress. I love when the feminine energy is not defined by what appeals to man’s sexual desire. Full time woman reclaim the female narrative. Show us more of the royal Haile-feminine energy. Too much of this low vibration of recreational sex distraction. Power words for those who have ears to hear.

Zetegu Anderson, from the beginning where you asked if I understand, then proceed to tell me I do understand a little let’s me know you have a conflict with her message not whether or not I overstand what she is saying. The song is for everyone if you get a different take than I do. Fine. Songs have a tendency to do that. I am not afraid of a woman who is in control of her femininity. Knowing that a love between a male and female is more than physical sex. “Sapiosexual” that’s my take. Wish you the best with yours...

Black gyaaaal power, is not in fighting men; but reminding black men that they really live up to black women's expectations. this song just chastises black men back to the real road, being real "Brothers", honourable men, kingly kings, kings for queens not kings to queens . I feel this is like a sequel to her song "Brothers" off Honeypot Riddim and is talking of the contrast to the man who really is a "Brother", the two songs are real oxymorons but speak on the same subject; Being a man'. GO ON Queen, remind a breda

Love contains all riches, but you will only truly find them when you have learnt to love. When two creatures discover their love for each other, why must they spoil it all so quickly? Why don’t they understand that what’s happening to them is the promise of the greatest happiness, the greatest fulfilment? - but only if they know how to use their glance, their words and all the subtle exchanges they develop between themselves, to become more perfect, purer and nobler. Obviously, that takes time. But, as soon as two people find they love each other, they can no longer keep their distance. And, just as quickly, they reject each other; they don’t know each other anymore - because they moved too fast! You will say, ‘Keep their distance? But why should they?’ So that they can use all the currents emanating from them to elevate themselves, to be inspired and dazzle the whole world. Yes, so that you can say when you see them, ‘But who are these two people? There’s a light emanating from them, something divine.’ For that is the purpose of love: to emanate light.

We have been waiting so lonnnnggggg for new music, but now I know why. You always bring it, never ever producing mediocre. We love you, and love the messages. Thanks for this song, as many need to hear it and take heed. We can't thank you enough. I can not wait for the next album, but I k ow to get perfection, it takes time, so I will be patient. Jah bless you always!
