Reconnecting with the Kemetic legacy and its spiritual culture through reggae music. Jah9 is the embodiment of the current cultural current among Africans abroad in the Diaspora. In the Tree of Life, Ma'at corresponds with good character, so I overstand why much of the song addresses the way in which we choose to live our lives. Great Work! Keep the Fire Blazing!

I literally dreamt of this empress when I was a kid. I want to say I'm shocked to be finding her in a music video in 2022, but I'm honestly not surprised. I just feel blessed to see her again and to receive her message. When I saw the vision as a child, I was enamored by her beauty, so I just assumed that she might be my future wife or something. Now it's 2022 and I'm realizing how much of a glutinous American pig I've been. We have this priceless art, truth and wisdom at our fingertips on KZfaq, and a lot of us squander it. Yet, grammatically-speaking your opening sentence has some clarity issues. What we certainly know of JAH9 is that, "She is a spiritual woman and that in her own words 'A spiritual woman is the greatest threat to the status quo' [JAH9] so WE CAN infer that JAH9 is at the least THE standard for ALL spiritual women . Ma'at also spelled Mayet. In ancient Egyptian better known as (Kemet), Ma'at is the personification of truth, justice, and the cosmic order. Ma'at daughter of the sun God Re, she was associated with Thoth, god of wisdom. Know your black history and yes Egypt aka Kemet which means (the land of the blacks) is apart of black history our rightfully owned history our land our bloodline. My family is grown.. left.. house will need to be sold.. everything and everyone gone... just oneself.. Jah9 has become my favourite artist and I genuinely believe the lord works through her. She awakened me to the presence of the almighty with her POWERFUL performance at Africa oye. It literally shook me awake and sent shivers down my spine. I could no longer deny him, and now spend my days trying to do better than before. Since 35 years I’m listen reggae music and other artists are quite the same with copy and paste. I’m not a rastafarian, but quite requiring with reggae and soul music. Normally i listen only Lee Perry, Black Uhuru (Michael Roze), Horace Andy and King Tubby. I saw the website of jah9, live concerts, interviews, … This woman is really REALLY amazing, very original, positive, respectful, shinning, … Wow what a voice and a woman! You’re beautiful from outside like inside. When I listen your strong voice, i see and feel a very deep spiritual connection with god. Soul music into dub reggae music in Spiritual and Love messages!
