Jai Glindeman riding 5 unique Velocity Project Pyzels in "Ordinal"

@jaiglindeman is one of Australia's most stylish young surfers, so we thought it would be fun to build him 5 new and unique Velocity Project designs to test out, ultimately choosing one as his all around favorite!
"Ordinal" brings us along on a journey with Jai to some of Australia's finest right-hand points, the perfect testing grounds for these 2, 3 and 4 finned crafts. In the end he does find a favorite, but to be honest ALL of the different boards look amazing under his feet and it's a pleasure to watch as he changes his approach to riding each one of them.
Beautifully captured by @danscotttt over a year's time (Jai injured his knee part way through it and had a 3 month break to recover), this is 18 minutes that you won't regret using up.

Whoever found this music good effin job, that song 'there's a woman at the station ' when he's on the green one is epic. The editing on this is just fantastic I mean this whole thing is as good as it gets. Really appreciate it. And eff me i don't know how i didn't catch this before but dude surfs like Tom Curren in so many ways. And that's a good thing. Great little vid, stoked.

Great video love seeing a surfer on a quiver of boards and the lil differences. Pyzel you and other core brand in surf culture will have a chance to blow up and takeover in a revival of core surf industry, with all the weird brand shit takeover of quiksilver Roxy etc., Carissa and Steph bailing on wsl. It’s time to revert to the 90’s golden era of surf. I miss surf punks and surf rats and heavy pecking orders! OG Hawaiian heavy surf culture

Nice to see a young surfer ripping on different shapes not sticking to a thruster on the five fin boards and not trying to pull airs don't think I saw one all video just surfing the waves and gouging them apart and carving it up great surfing young man refreshing keep it up or should I say down on the waves 🤙💥💥🤙💯% on 🔥 💥 ☠️🔥

It’s so weird to me when “pros” don’t know anything about their surfboards. Part of me is envious of their ignorance, but another part of me is like this would have been way more informative if the surfer had something even remotely intelligent to say… lol

--Online shoppers beware.newbie surfers too-- commenting because I found some major materials faults in a pyzel board and they are not worth buying... After taking apart a snapped pyzel board I found multiple materials reasons to avoid them... What happened was yesterday I found the nose half to a new pyzel short board and while stripping off the fibreglass the whole left side of the foam blank has dislodged on its own from the stringer (which is the wooden bit in the middle of the board). Me thinking that it was odd to see a (blank) disintegration of this proportion I further investigated 🧐and what I also😊 found was very shocking too. What I also found was that the stringer which usually provided strength to boards was instead made of something other than the usually hard rigid ply wood and there was a soft black oil based, (smelt it) material the consistency of paper mashay as a (wood) substitute. Yes you read correctly...a soft paper mashay board strengthener (stringer) made out of something oil based (plastic mashay??). And yes... I recently made a paper mashay pot for a pot-plant so I have an idea of what I am going on. So online shoppers beware of the pyzel boards (blanks) with the black stringers. They are a bit of joke and will not last long. For newbies don't dare pick one up for yourself and tell everyone that you know that I said they are a joke.😊 Boards need to be strong not flexible. Having flexibility is a bit of a new one in the surfboard marketing game and I see through the stringerless (they crease) thing but paper mashay wow maybe hopefully time to look at other ways to feed off of the bottom of the pyramid.😅
