Confirms what we all knew. Teams like the lakers and teams with superstars that generate the highest amount of revenue for the league and its partners had preferential treatment so they can succeed as much as possible. Unfortunately, the best case scenario is that it makes First take 1 day and then it will be buried. Blamed on solely on Tim, while we know it was all planned by the corrupt David Stern.

2006 was when Kobe was struggling with a bad roster, and people were saying he could not win without Shaq. At that time, if Dirk won it all after beating Tim Duncan, he would automatically become the face of the NBA and this idea terrified the NBA. The NBA makes money through superstars and Dirk was simply not marketable. He didn't sell shoes and was never voted as an all-star starter in his entire career, even with multiple 1st team. Also nobody cares about basketball in Germany, so the fact that Dirk was a foreigner was a pure negative. Wade was the opposite. From a business standpoint it makes a lot of sense for the NBA to give Wade the most whistles he could get.

First impression with the title is that the refs are dirty but turns out its the NBA that's dirty and the refs are just milking it. No judgement there at all, but it definitely adds a weird layer to it considering the refs have money on it so it's hard to think there wouldn't be bias on top of the NBA's push.

Lets be real. Its not like he was fouling out the 2003 Lakers or the 97 Bulls at home. They've trying to put it all off on him. The Utah Jazz had a flat out better team than the Bulls the year they went to the finals. The problem is theu didn't sell merchandise. When the Larry Bird Magic Johnson rivalry retired the NBA shit their pants. Theres no money in just putting the ball in the basket. No franchise in the NBA has a John Stockton. But every team has the big dunker. Its a show.

But Draymond did it for a fraction of the time and got T'd. 😶 When KD was out of bounds and the refs didn't see shit 🙄. Maaaaan 😔 All of those BS travels, when they take 3+ steps and the refs don't do anything. Harden 😂 I can't think of any more.... @@rhyno8644 The 96-97 Bulls had a better record than the Jazz. The Bulls (69-13) would have had (another) 70+ win season if not for injuries. Meanwhile, the Jazz had 64 wins, and that was a franchise record. On the road to the finals, the Bulls never saw a game 6, unlike the Jazz, that would have gone to a game 7 against the Rockets if not for Stockton hitting a buzzer beating 3-pointer. Perhaps you're remembering the Jazz differently because they were the best they'd ever been in their history, while the Bulls were doing business as usual, and were following their untouchable 1996 championship. I'm not saying there's no rigging, but "flat out better"? You're rewriting history.

Im saying they obviously played a better team games. It helps to get allll the game changing calls. To sit back and blame the refs for what Michael Jordan openly admitted about the game is outrageous. There will be no more Cinderella underdog teams. There wont even be any champions that dont sell jerseys. Is it a stretch to say the team that held those stat recorecords that still was stand was imo a better all around team? What history am I completely miseducating the wor world about? They were the shit on paper. Not even a Jazz fan. Just call it like I see it.

You’ve likely heard the term “The Cabal” before, meaning a secretive and political organization. The name originates in Kabbalah, an ancient and widely practiced mysticismIn Kabbalah, the practice of coding numbers into words is known as gematria, meaning geometry in language. Gematria is very popular in Hebrew studies, and in Ancient Greek studies, where it is known as isopsephy.. Gematria is about pairing words together that have matching numerical values and logical relationships. ( Think About How Significant Religion Is To The World, I'm Not For Or Against Religion I'm Just Making A Point About One Of The Most Powerful Subjects Know To Mankind ) For example, notice how these words - Jesus - Messiah - Gospel - Parables - Cross When added together each of these words equal = 74 If you are not familiar with the Gospel, it is the story of Jesus, and when Jesus speaks within it, he does so in parables. (Jesus) 10+5+19+21+19 = 74 (Messiah) 13+5+19+19+9+1+8 = 74 (Gospel) 7+15+19+16+5+12 = 74 (Parables) 16+1+18+1+2+12+5+19 = 74 (Cross) 3+18+15+19+19 = 74 Simple English Gematria (also known as Ordinal Gematria): A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7, H=8, I=9 J=10, K=11, L=12, M=13, N=14, O=15, P=16, Q=17, R=18 S=19, T=20, U=21, V=22, W=23, X=24, Y=25, Z=26 So ask yourself.... Again, this is why I don't watch Basketball. The inconsistency of the calls by the refs is to control the winners and losers or to make the series interesting. That's why a team can outscore the opponent by 20 points one game and then play the same team 3 nights later and lose by 20. But to me it's obvious. Plus, the league has developed into a contact sport, yet calls are based on a no-contact game.

No, basketball is just the hardest sport to referee in that it has unenforceable rules. There is traveling on every other possession. There is a 3 in the key violation every possession that lasts longer than 10 seconds. Fouls are often ignored in the playoffs intentionally in order to change the game and make it more exciting. Hand checks are regularly ignored unless they lead to a loose ball. Off the ball fouls are almost always missed. Bottom line, there is a lot going on on a basketball court, and there's only 3 referees for 10 players. Hes explaining how they make the games as fair as possible by responding to valid complaints by coaches with altered refereeing. He used his knowledge of those adjustments that would have been made anyway to make money gambling. It makes perfect sense that his calls would actually go against himself when possible, because he was winning plenty without actively fixing games.

As a degenerate sports better, this guy knowing referee tendencies and exactly what they’re going to be looking for to call fouls on is A HUGE ADVANTAGE if you’re taking a favorite to cover or not cover the spread

Marcus Rosselli LOL for real. He handled that like an OG. Didn’t overreact in the moment, but later who knows what might’ve happened.. On this podcast Tim did say Rasheed Wallace stepped to him after a game

2:52 min mark. The guy admitted the League wanted these teams to win and they made sure that happened.

That game 6 Laker vs Kings in 2002 is the reason why I am just a casual fan at best of the NBA. I'm not a huge fan of either team, but what I watched stunk to high hell and was a travesty.

The NBAs problem started when they wanted to make sure Jordan won every year because they felt he was the only marketable super star. Period. Then they tried the same shit with Kobe.

Yeah, when the "Jordan Rules" were enacted, and he could no longer be touched, it completely changed the nature of the game. It went from a physical game to literally a rigged game in Chicago's favor. Whether you agree with the physical style or not, the league has the ability to dictate L's and W's.

This is why the NBA is bogus, they change how the games will be called to benefit certain teams.

@@youdontseeanoldmanhavinatw4904 The NFL is insanely scripted. There is a difference between scripted and rigged though. The league doesnt give a shit who wins, they just make sure that most games are interested the entire time so people dont tune out early. Any shock that the Superbowl is usually the best game of the year in the last 10-15 years?

@@NothingToPointOut24 you haven't watched many super bowls if you think its best game of the year every year. Last year's what boring as all hell(granted my team won it) 2015 was shit, 2014 was just a blowout. 2013 was good. Honestly, the amount of fans the NFL loses every time the Patriots win another ring is astounding. Pretty sure they want the opposite to happen.

@@youdontseeanoldmanhavinatw4904 If the NFL wanted that to happen there were plenty of things they could've done (or not done) in the AFC title game last season to make sure KC won it. I dont buy that anti-Pats argument at all. And if you go back 15 years, more times than not the Superbowl is an amazing game. The ones that arent, like last years, barely get talked about. Also a little weird to me, that win or lose, the Pats are involved in most of those "amazing" Superbowls.

@@NothingToPointOut24 again, the last super bowl they were in was not 'amazing'. I I disagree with your assumption that KC wouldn't won it all if they simply wanted them to. A player was committing such an obvious foul, that it would look suspicious if they DIDNT throw a flag.
