Actually I am feeling this from the Vikram movie the sounds are huge , yesterday also in jailer felt the same. One side its enjoyable but the other side its really affecting . You also proved it by mentioning the speaker jump 😂 and screen damage.

None of the twist in 2nd half worked out, it felt forced. Seems someone told Nelson Beast didnt work out because of no twist, so he forcefully decided to add twist to Jailer. All of Sunil scenes are just worst, surprised u didn’t even mention it. Like Lokesh, Nelson decided to use star cast to boost the scene, but only issue with Jailer is none of them are organic. When u watch with hyper fans on first day even average scenes will look good, it’s reviewer job to stay out of that fans zone and watch the movie. Disappointed you couldn’t do that. Sorry. 😢

You said there were only 2 female actors but there were also 3 others with important turning points, Vijay TV Nisha is the one who kick starts him, Maliga from where the action phase starts, then Tamannah making the big hit song with her dance which was a big promotion for the movie.

Hi Karthi, When you speak about Censor certificate, compare the ratings in other countries. Because for Jailer the rating in Saudi Arabia is 18+ and it makes sense. They don't allow anyone less than 18 years for this movie.

Problem with handling Superstar movies is they show him too OP for any villain to handle ! Vinayagam did a excellent job but even he was made dummy in the first half itself ! Any scene where he raises the voice or touches rajini many rajini fans are shouting abusive words at him....maybe its cause of such fans also that directors are scared to write a powerful villain like raghuvaran roles who could go on par with him....inum mankatha maari slapping scenes lam vecha kaasi screen nelamai thaan neraya theatres kum vandhirukum pola :P

I think u r the only reviewer who address the tone of rajni to ramyakrishnan before interval break. Nelson is somewhat a person who doesnt write much for female characters. Ramya was Just like extra fitting. She was just making thosai n acting regularly which could be done by any other actress. You dont need Rajamatha in such role.

Watched in Amazon prime. Personally, it’s a mediocre movie. As you said first half was better, but second half was almost irrelevant. Comedy was not up to the mark, not anywhere close to doctor movie. If one is not a Rajini fan, it’s highly unlikely for anyone to enjoy the movie in full. And I completely second your suggestion of UA certificate for this and Vikram. Both are not advisable for watching with kids. I think OTTs should provide features to skip the violent contents while watching at home.
