I was also dealing with a narcissist for almost 15 Years and I got to know his true nature now. Still I am living with him because of kids. But now I know how to deal with him. And keep him on his place. I wish I could negate the social pressure and get out if this relationship. But one day Allah will show him how bitter n self centred he is. And how he ruined lives of his kids n wife and even himself.

Listen to me because I went through the same situation. I had 2 young children and was a "stay-at-home" mum. No close family around for emotional support so I did feel trapped. I eventually got out when my children were in high school and I wish that I had done so earlier. It has affected my children, negatively, who are grown up and independent now. GET OUT for your and the children's sake. You will lose your self-esteem if you haven't done so already. The ex, I spoke about is still a NARCICCIST! You think you may be able to handle him but you are destroying and wasting your life with an insecure asshole! Your happiness and peace is worth more than any man! Good luck!@@bakerssecret2164

Every time I see this drama, I am just appalled that how the writer has perfectly portrayed this intricate abuse! I have lived this life!! Lies, deception, manipulation, sadism….. and much more 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻to the writer to bring this side of abuse! And this is not only about the narcissist. Some of the dialogues show that the drama is meant to promote FEMINISM CRAP. 1. Yh lrki itni smart hy lekin shadi sy pehly socha nhi. Shadi ko mazaq samjh lia. 2. Boss's dialogue: YH PHLY HMARI YHN PHIR APKI was absolute shit. And the heroine smiling at that was just CHEAP AND THIRD CLASS 3. "Freedom is more important . Tum shadi na karo". What really?? Kiya bakwas hy? Freedom or shadi ka kia comparison hyn? Not all the husbands are abusive. Sherry is wrong but alizay isn't also a white character.

I comment here every week on how accurate this portrayal of an abusive narcissist is. Some of the textbook tactics / behaviours of my ex - feeling relief when I am sad or crying, “accusing” me of being a “feminist” or losing his temper if I said anything he perceived as “feminist”. Triangulation and giving importance to other people to feed my insecurities - Sherry does it with Natasha and my ex used some of his “female friends” and side ladies. Not relenting when I am begging for forgiveness.

My husband was also the same. I did everything for him to please him. He decided everything about me. Even my dressing. Still he was rude. Later I started ignoring him and I firmly stood for my rights. Then he would not talk to me for several days. That was his way to break me. I used to be broken initially. Later I learned to remain normal. I neither argued nor cried. I stopped begging for his love and attention. Then things started to get better. Now, Alhamdulillah I have no complaints about him.
