We'd probably be able to beat this the right way, if the game just gave you the ammo capacity that you started with when you respawn.

So I need to get the HIGH GROUND

I beat this game legit on ps2, went back on ps3 for the plat and tricked my way through. Hands down hardest game I've beat (and I platyed demons souls) I glitches for this fight but not this way...as soon as you start there's a small ditch behind you...go to the right corner (left corn if you're facing the wall) and sit there...can't get hit...I found it on my 10th try hahahaha

I spent over an hour trying to complete this the legit way. That was a few months ago, because I couldn't kill the fucking thing and just gave up on it, made me stop playing my PS2 all together. Got him to really low health on one try, but wasn't even able to get close to it after. If it wasn't for this glitch I would've never finished this game because of that fuck-nard of a boss. Thanks for this, m80.

Thanks for the easy boss fight, I've beat it the normal way in the past, but that was a lot quicker and easier. I only died once and it's cause I got up there and accidentally run out of bullets

After getting the platinum all I can say is FUCK THIS GAME

i love this game, but the difficulty is too close to "bullshit" sometimes. like when it refuses to give you checkpoint at a hard level where ONE misstep is enough to end the mission, and the fact that the ammo you spend doesnt come back at respawn. Like i wanted to use peacemaker but whoops, i died, cool, i guess i'm now punished, i won't get to use peacemaker anymore at all. thank you for this exploit.

Thanks, I didn't have the patience for it. And the the fact that you don't get your ammo back is bs. I think I somehow managed to beat it the legit way back in the day. Must have taken me hours. Anyway, I have no regrets.

Damn don't really want to finish such an awesome game like that. If the boxes released blue ammo then things would have been different. Love Jak 2

I purchased the bundle a few days ago. Finished the first game and am now on the second AND just learned about debug mode. I beat the game once (somehow without raising my blood pressure) way back on PS2 so I consider it paying my dues. Maybe this time I'll just use the debug mode for only refilling my health if I'm down to my last hit. AND I'll use methods like this one for the final boss fight to make things easier/different to how I did it before. I remember being on my last bit of health at the final stage of this fight constantly dodging and praying my shots hit!

Honestly, I don't remember why people found this boss so hard. Its honestly the easiest boss in the game for me. I actually find Krew to be the "hardest" (I say that because I still find him easy, he's just harder compared to the other bosses), and that's only because of the camera angle, the speed and amount of the clones that appear in the second and third phases, and Krew practically swooping in from random directions.

Oh man where would I be without environment loopholes in Jak 2. Been trying at this boss legit method and it's just too hard. Only made it to half health on final stage then died (dark bomb only takes down half a phase's health). All my ammo is gone except for yellow, so I'll try the cheat. This game has been the biggest struggle I just want it to end!

Oh thats easy trigger dark jak to anger police gaurds then duck under his bike so they damage it so its slower

no need to high jump just double jump
