the tables seem to be playing a bit slow and cue ball is not reacting as it normally would....especially with back spin and stun shots, also looks like the pockets are playing tighter than of late...just like the good old days !

@@AlastairBarker True, But he has 7, Not 1. Lame WC this season, Too many Tournaments is the problem. Top players burnt out. Ronnie is, And always has been, A peaches & Cream player. When he is good, He is ethereal. However if he's not up for it, He's not a competitor. Much as i dislike Mark Selby's style, He's a true Competitor.

I don't know if it's the tables or pockets, but play is sooooo slow this year. I cannot see these 2 finishing the match before the afternoon session is due to start. What happens then?

The overall standard of play in the tournament has been kinda poor. Lots of drawn out frames, easy pots missed. I thought the 2024 Masters was poor quality too. Maybe things will improve in the semi finals and final. It's possible there are too many tournaments per season so by the time you get to the World Championship many players are tired. I dunno.

Jak has been dragging the game down, not great to watch. 30 seconds a shot isn’t what we want to watch at the crucible. Purposely trying to knock Judd out of his rhythm. If he’s such a good player, where has he been all season … absolutely no where

i watched the game and didn't feel he was unduly slow. if Judd's out of his rhythm it's his own doing, but Judd def wasn't in control of his cueball.
