this kat is in jeans, unique pedal strike and leg posture (almost as if his knees are bending inward toward the frame) and riding in wet roads and still faster than most people in any country. lol! at leaning on that green and white bus. I love these videos as they show real local cyclists doing it big and not the fancy pro riders whom I cant relate to. much respect.

yooo this is crazy.. anyone who hasn't been to indonesia doesn't realize just how crazy cycling there is... the lanes are just a suggestion , people drive all over the road

you should look the bogota traffic sometimes its mmore complicated lol a lot of holes on the road a lot of crazy bus drivers ,speeding motorcicles damn riding here its like a fight with the cars lol you had to be pretty PRETTY agressive in your cycling

@@soundtester3991 yessir im from nyc and every day is a battle- taxis, cement trucks, busses, e bikes and more.. as a cyclist you gotta be at least 2x aggressive as the cars and always ready 2 die respect from new york and bless to ur cycling adventures hope i can cycle around different places in the world one day

Riding in Jakarta today is like riding in NYC in the 80s. No bike lanes, chaotic traffic, almost 0 bikes and people not giving two shits about cyclists. Mad respect for this kid!

Now they have bike lane but just some problem as biker in here, is the weather too hot and street crowded with car, and lack of pedestrian and bicycle services

Nice! I used to live in Jakarta and this brings back memories (though riding never crossed my mind when I was there). Can definately see the benefits of riding: road congestion is 100% like 90% of the time; traffic is very smooth with few red lights; and Jakarta drivers are very cool and not aggressive. Downside would be the heat, super high humidity and all those motorbikes. Plus, it’s a really huge city. Vast.

Now this is how we ride in Jakarta, go slow and the minibuses and motorcycle will start cuting you off. Gotta keep pedaling and somewhat matching the speed of the other motorized vehicle. Good video as always Terry.

Jakarta: It takes you 3 hours to cross the city in a taxi, but only 35 minutes via the metro train. The street food in that city is incredible.

The camera is on a gimbal (mechanical stabilizer) mounted to the helmet. Literally way over his head.

I hate when they try to "show off" and do all the risky maneuvers. There were a few situations where it was pretty damn close. But that place looks fun to ride!
