Jake Gyllenhaal stars in his first TV series in "Presumed Innocent," based on the Scott Turow novel that was first adapted as a 1990 film starring Harrison Ford. In this version, written by David E. Kelley, Gyllenhaal plays a prosecutor accused of murder. His courtroom adversary is played by Peter Sarsgaard, who in real life is married to Gyllenhaal's older sister, Maggie.

I know, this makes no sense. They cut out like half of the plot and storylines from the movie and even though it's 8 hours long instead of 2 hours. We're 3/4 of the way through the series and the audience has no idea who Carolyn Polhemus is/ was and why she may have been murdered.

What a great movie! Especially the end, when you find out who was the culprit along with Ford :)) Raul Julia's playing is also a special pleasure :)

This Apple series was awful. They had 8 hours to tell the story and yet they cut out half of the story instead and changed the ending for no logical reason.
