This song was such a heavy hitter, and one of the heaviest tracks Polaris have released. It’s such an awesome track because it shows Jake’s (the clean vocalist) different ranges and styles, he has some brutal screams when necessary (shown in Hypermania too). Massive fan of the album, they’re my favourite band and they just keep releasing incredible tunes.

My Band Throw The Fight was recording at Think Loud with Grant when the Polaris guys came in and myself and some other band mates were lucky enough to do those “HEYS” On this track. I was blown away by this song. Absolutely tour with them! Great dudes!

Honestly. Listen to this whole album. It’s a daily thing for me right now. They are ruthless and talented. Their guitar play through videos are so fun too.

The Mortal Coil blew my fucking mind. It was like perfect metalcore but with the modern take. Like how every Killswitch Engage song from the mid 2000s was just an absolute banger. Riffs, solos, breakdowns, clean choruses, outrageously heavy shit with groove. But most importantly and impressively, PERFECT song structure. The composition, every time, was just picture perfect. Polaris is really something special.

Honestly just found out about Polaris from there new album and that have easily become one of my top favorite bands now. They have such a great sound. I would travel to Australia just to watch you guys play with them, would be unreal!

Fuckin just love this damn song to death. At this point I drive and listen only to Polaris, and it never gets old.

It was definetly my favourite track off their latest album. The break down, the verse riffs, and the dudes vocals were just all on point. And as you can imagine its absolute chaos live. And yes to an ABR / polaris tour down under!

I remember looking up guitar covers of ABR way back and finding the asian guitarist in polaris performing a ton of covers when he was a kid. This is pretty cool.

Yes, please tour with Polaris and bring them to the US! Glad you mentioned buying the album, it won’t disappoint! All of this is Fleeting is probably my favorite song from the album but Martyr (Waves) is a totally different kind of song it’s chill with some heavy parts. I love it!!

So hyped to see this because The Death of Me is gonna probably remain not only one of my favorite 2020 album releases but one of my all time favorite albums. This song is incredible and honestly at best is my 7th favorite song off the album. The album just fucking delivers at every second.

I love this sound and this album. _The Death of Me_ has some really awesome breakdowns throughout. I remember when Wage War wrote songs like this (Alive, Youngblood, Deadweight) that gave me similar feelings.

Hell yeah! Got to see Polaris end of Feb on their headline tour in Sydney, right before the rona really got crazy. It went absolutely off! The energy was wild, the crowd was insane. One of the best shows I have seen. I would pay any amount of money to see ABR tour with Polaris down under!

I met Polaris in 2016 at Melbourne and they were amazing dudes in person and have been a fan since that day! This album was just amazing from start to finish! Def check out Hypermania! That is one other song that is freaking amazing!

Here is an idea for a battle of the bands, how about Currents vs. Make Them Suffer; but do an album review type of thing since both albums come out the same day (June 5th). You can listen to both albums, then give us your opinion on both of them and which one you think is better. Then have the people vote on the albums and do your giveaway. You could even play your favorite song from both songs to have some music during the video. Idk, just idea. Also, another battle of the bands suggestion is by two technical metalcore bands, Erra (Eye of God) vs. Veil of Maya (Outsider).

It’s cool to see you react to new bands that you undoubtedly inspired when they were young it’s almost full circle. You should also react to Veil Of Mayas song that just dropped called outsider I believe.

One of my favorite bands (along with ABR), and saw them in NY in the Fall. First time I heard them was on an ABR Spotify recommendations list. Their previous album "The Mortal Coil" is fucking amazing, top 5 for me all time. "Casualty", "Sonder", "Lucid"...the whole album is really, really good. 100% need to tour with them, preferably in the US!

You should upload more of these. So many sick bands coming out of Australia right now. Lune, Thornhill, Gravemind, Alpha Wolf.. any of those would be great!
