Thank you for the review. We actually bought this car used in September of 2017 and I watched your video before we bought it to become familiar with the car. The car is nice and all besides being a bare stock base model. The only options I believe we have are interior accent lighting, heated front seats, power steering wheel, and power/dimming wing mirrors (some of those might be standard I don’t know). We bought the car with 92,000 miles and it now has 125,000 miles on it. Like I said the car is nice, but we have had some major issues with it. I know some of you are going to say “that’s what you get for buying an old BMW”, and I KNOW. The electronic steering assist constantly pulls to the left even after new tires and alignment. It’s not really noticeable in the city, but on the highway it gets annoying. The steering is very bland, the car feels like it is floating on the highway and sometimes there are moments when you even wonder if you have control of the car anymore, it’s a little scary. The gas petal “lags” from a stop. You push it in, nothing happens, so you push a little more and the car will lurch forward. The passenger side power door lock no longer works, the right side LED halos don’t work anymore, and the counter-weight spring in the trunk lid is broken. But last but not least, the car has had a complete computer glitch on 2 occasions that left the car stuck in park and had to be towed to get reset. Like I said, it is a nice car for what it is, but the issues are a huge downside. Also RWD during Illinois winters can be scary, but also pretty fun 😉

I bought this vehicle not long ago. I drove it on a rainy day with an average speed of 50mph. I hit the traction control to maximize traction control, but the vehicle started to act weird. First, It locked up my control wheel. then it started to roll left. I was driving alone so i assumed that there was more weight on the left and thats why it rolled left. The vehicle was designed to not let you place any control input to fix the left roll. I hit curve so hard that it almost took my life. I will never trust BMW traction control system again. If you own this vehicle and you live in a area where it rains a lot, I suggest you sell your BMW right a way. Its not worth it to risk your life for some beautiful interior designs.
