There is a lot to love about Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but the new enemies are one of my favorite parts. We're used to the same ol' Koopas and Goombas but Wonder goes HOG WILD with the craziest cast of characters we've seen in the series yet. So let's discuss which are the BEST and which leave us WONDERing why they were added at all.
From Trottin' Piranha Plants to Wonder Bowser himself, there is a WIDE range of enemies in the newest 2D Mario game.

Gotta love how Nintendo had the balls to create completely new enemies for this game instead of making all the enemies just variations of pre-existing enemies (they didn't make 20 Goomba variants and call it a day).

I think the best part about the Moving Doors is how they're defeated. You stomp on them to stun them, then you _open them._ That's a genius method of killing them.

One thing I love about Mario Wonder is the insane variety of enemies and the sheer amount…but some of them have cool concepts you only see once. Not gonna lie I hope they add DLC levels that combine features of multiple enemies.

I heavily disagree with Wonder Bowser’s ranking. It’s a very unique take on a fight with Bowser that isn’t just the same “he grow big, hit him three times, you win” or “he grow big, run away, hit switch, you win”.

I understand, and I respect your opinion, but I can’t say I agree. I appreciate them trying something different but I don’t think it was a good alternative. Just didn’t feel like a final boss fight to me. But, like I said, I definitely understand your take as well.

Mario Wonder is simply the best mario game. it appeals to everyone !!!! there's inflation enemies with the bloomps, vore enemies with the Maw-Maws, slime enemies for people who like slimes, the hoppos are extremely THICK, threesome lakitus and more! ... anyway. Great video as always !!!!! and remember everyone, inflated daisy is peak.

I wouldn't really call the hoppo an enemy, but more of like a spring from SMM2 or the throwing piantas in Mario Sunshine. I do agree that it is a great part of Mario Wonder though.

Jake, I have an important question. There was a game I played on my brother’s iPad when I was a child, I don’t remember what it was called, but you were an octopus or something, (the game starts underwater) and the goal of the game is to jump as high as possible between these rotating circle platforms, the only other things I can remember are that you can unlock more characters and that one of the height-level-things was called Aurora borealis. You sir are what I would call an expert on nostalgic games, do you happen to know the game I’m talking about? I can’t find it anywhere.

Fun fact: Mario characters have canonically appeared in the bible. Ezekiel 37:1-10 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. Since Dry bones is stated to be in the bible, this confirms koopas exist or have existed.

For a game that had no dead line. The boss fighter really stick out like a sore thumb. Idk what was their deal when not all worlds has a boss fight. All of them are bwsr Jr. None have that much of a twist since the firs hit is always base bwsr Jr. And the only i'tresting part is last hit. The bowser reactors are watoo short and could have use the typical 3 hit mario boss fight. Bowser at the end was amazing. But where is phase 2? That's the one thing I don't get about this game. We could have easly gotten cool new bosses. Or wonder koopa lings. But instead we got nothing i'tresting. Despite the game having no dead line. So it was the choice to do it this way.
