I might pick up Nine cuz not only is the sculpt really accurate, not only is he my favorite character in the show next to Shadow, but 70 POINTS OF ARTICULATION!? that's a must buy (better yet I can paint the tails metallic silver myself)

I'm with you on that; I'm most excited (EGG-sited?) for the Eggman figure, since I think he'd scale better with the 4-inchers. Also, a little glue could help with those loose joints, and I'm sure a talented customizer could give you some tips on how to fix Nine. (And 70 POINTS OF ARTICULATION?!! That's insane!) =D

They look cool, but that last comparison really makes me want a 5" normal Eggman figure. The scale looks almost perfect.

I can't believe I didn't think of this until just now, but another character who would really benefit from this 5" scale line is Big the Cat. If we can get a normal (Prime) Big in this line, I'm sure it would look much better with 4" Amy and Cream. I haven't seen the Sonic Prime series, has Vector or Omega ever made any kind of cameo appearance? They would also look better in the 5" scale but I doubt there's any chance of that unless they were in the show somehow...

This makes me wanna pick up sonic from sonic prime I wish jakks specific made a jungle version and a pirate version

So happy they made toys of these characters. For once, I won't mind buying multiple versions of the same character because due to the multiverse aspect, they are actually quite different characters really. I just hope we get a good 5'' Rebel Rouge too - so far we have 2 Roses and 2 Sonics but no Rouge yet.

Im tempted to grab Mr Dr Eggman to customize into a proper scale Modern eggman! Only problem is the 4" Eggman fits decent in that sonic boom eggmobile. Kinda doubt this 5"eggman would fit

HOPE JAKKS SEES THIS It’s enough, surely huge improvement on the main line and this is the direction they should have, they should evolve…but objectively they should have been better. They should have - MORE RANGE OF MOTION, the joints are there but they don’t go deep, sonic is the best but honestly even him is problematic at the price is not enough, the joints are there but they don’t work well. It doesn’t cost more to do better that’s their biggest problem, there is nothing holding back their range but they are still not enough. - Sonic has an holding hand and nothing to hold? And no interchangeable hand? What am I supposed to do with a hand that has nothing to hold and an opened hand? It looks ridiculous when you pose it - the paint of sonic is too yellow and too trasparente on the belly you can actually see the blue trough - THE LOOSENESS IS UNACCEPTABLE that’s bootleg quality, having a figure that can’t stand and loose out of the packaging? Disgusting.
