11.8.24. Good afternoon Nick, thank you for your interesting videos. Noticed that the oil for deep frying (cucur udang, spring roll) is black means the oil is very old, not changed enough, causes lots illnesses eg high cholesterol, blood pressure, strokes/heart attacks, cancers, etc. Even if given free, foods deep fried in very dark brown-black oils must not consume. Wishing you all a very good Sunday and all goes well for the years ahead.

hey Roland, thanks for your concern. We only eat "less healthy" when out for shooting on weekends. On weekdays, we "try" to eat more healthy😄

Thanks for sharing. Just remind me of the area while I was in primary school. I was schooling at Batu 4 primary school area in Jalan Ipoh. Things have certainly changed a lot over the years.

Hello nick and glamorous assistant . You guys have spoilt me .. i normally like to chill out in ipoh but now im going to be roaming kl for all the good food you recommended . O think sister Ying curry noodles would taste really nice if it had some mint leaves , and definitely not going to the Michelin guide clay pot rice . I think you mentioned heung kee .. yes better one for sure ..i think even they guy in Chinatown clay pot rice and Portuguese fish looks and tastes better . This is my own personal opinion . Thank you ..as always love your videos . 🎉

@Nick: I saw the bread are toasted first, then spread with butter/Margarine before toasted them again Hence, the butter/margarine should be melted and hence produce a wonderful tastes. How is the taste compared to those that just put chunk of butter inside toasted bread?

hey Koh, in my opinion, i think with cheaper margarine, it tasted better after toast it. While for good quality butter, best to served chilled

@@Nick_catman刚才赶着进电影院前看到你快看了一下就留言了，回来仔细多看一次才发现琼南海在怡保路又多开一间，而黑人椰浆饭的历史总是搬来搬去搬到都无感他出现在甲洞哪里了，曾经还做餐车然后结束掉，最后一次说猪肉成本高忽然转成卖素食椰浆饭是在甲洞大街的Metro Prima某茶室然后又甲洞琼南海然后又搬，我都调侃他应该改名叫流浪黑人椰浆饭了。
