Great idea cooking the peppers to purge the excess heat to prevent the ring of fire effect, and roasted jalapenos taste great. I gotta try this sometime soon.

Love your videos! I'm new to wine making and as we love jalapenoes I had to try out this wine! I added a can of pineapple to it as well--It is GOOD! I'm in nursing and I take care of a German lady who told me this reminds her of an Austrian wine made with green bell peppers called (I think) Gruner Veltiner. Really good stuff, goes great with pesto pastas on hot days! Thank you for this! 👍👍👍

Thanks for the videos! I used your recipe to make the jalapeno wine a few times. It tastes great with a margarita mix. The first batch had an original gravity 1.066, 16 days later was 0.980 , 11.29% ABV, used the yeast you recommended.

WARNING! Wear surgical gloves. The capsun will make your fingers feel like they've been burned, uncomfortable but it will pass in about 3 days to a week. I've learned to protect my hands if making a lot with hot peppers. Learned from canning peppers. It will make your skin extremely sensitive. Love peppers, and love the way they taste with something sweat, like pineapple and/or honey. Thanks for the video.

Hello dear Phil, thx for your vids! Would it be possible to just use bread yeast for this? Greets from Belgium!
@philbillymoonshine73564 жыл бұрын
You can use bread yeast to brew wine however i am not sure it will work on jalapenos because they are really acidic,, If you try it, and it works please let us know. Thanks.

Jalapenos do have good vitamin a & c. but it would take about 4 jalapenos to equal a orange. Butttt if you eat a single green chili its equivalent to eating a little more than 2 oranges. I'v been married to 2 mexican men and my son is half mexican. And its true i know a lot of mexicans that eat a jalapeno pepper for breakfast!!
