I've followed Jalen Hurts since he took over the QB at Alabama his freshman year. He had a winning record 26-2. He graduated Alabama went to Oklahoma with Lincoln Riley, had CD Lamb as his ace receiver. I personally thought he should have been drafted in the 1st round, but what do I know...hell I watched Joe Namath when he was at Alabama, plus I was born in Alabama. I think I know football. Jalen Hurts should be MVP this year no BS. Go Jalen go, continue to show the virtues of class, hard work, and determination because the world sees what you're made of. God bless you my brother.

I truly never understood the decision against drafting Jalen Hurts. We had a quarterback in Carson Wentz that proved over the prior year(s) that he wasn't able to stay healthy, or protect the football nearly as well as he did in his 2017/18 MVP year. All I can say is Jalen Hurts has taken everything thrown at him and handled it like a straight baller, a consummate professional, and is cementing himself as a true Philly Legend.

The average Q B takes six years to develop into a top level Q B. Jalen has a Spartan like work ethic, a prerequisite for success in any athletic endeavor, and therefore, he has every right to improve. Early childhood development played a major role in every top level athlete who has grown up under parental tutelage. Tiger Woods, Bobby Hurley,(son of the great B B coach Robert E. Hurley) Venus and Serenia Williams are just a few that have prospered because of early childhood development .

People blamed Jalen for the playoffs last season but they didn't say how many passes were dropped, How Barnett was hurting the defense and The defensive Coordinator had his defense in bad situations. He wasn't blitzing and played mostly zone all game. The pass rush was so horrible, The offensive wasn't balanced, Sanders had no touchdowns, the offensive line wasn't healthy all year.

I’ll admit i was very skeptical like many when they first drafted Jalen Hurts back in 2020. Because a lot of us expected Carson Wentz to be the long term QB for Philadelphia and improve, but Carson Wentz doesn’t respond well to improvement. His fragile body, fragile ego, decision making, and not really getting along with his teammates was a result of his career going downhill in 2020. After his ACL Injury and being jealous over Nick Foles his confidence was totally lost, he couldn’t be the team leader and team player we all hoped he’d be. That’s why it was a good decision for Howie to get rid of Wentz and build a future around Hurts. Hurts is that guy that Wentz couldn’t be, Hurts is a leader and a team player, he’s one tough mf that’ll do whatever it takes to win a game. And you’re seeing a lot of that from him this season as he continues to grow as a player. In Hurts second year as a starting QB, his deep ball accuracy has definitely improved and looks very comfortable in the pocket compared to last year. Given his improvements and the amazing talent he has surrounded by him he’s now an MVP front runner and we our favorites to win the Super Bowl. Had we not drafted Jalen Hurts in 2020, we wouldn’t be where we’re at today in 2022, drafting Jalen Hurts and building talent around him was by far the best decision Howie has made. With Hurts at QB and AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith as his primary targets, the future looks bright for us. I hope Jalen Hurts continues to succeed and is a first ballot hall of famer when his career is done.
