Presti only knows how to rebuild that’s the thing. His moves after that first finals appearance were a comedy of errors. This year he acquired Hayward who was awful and gave Dallas more cap space by taking the Bertans trade (literally strengthening the team who ended their series). We’ll see what happens from here…

With him being close to becoming an an all star level player, I was looking forward to seeing where his focus was after what was undoubtedly a disappointing series for him. I can honestly say I'm impressed too. If he and Chet can take that next step, the sky is the limit for them.

This next season it’s unlikely for them to be as fortunate as they were with their health dealing with almost zero injuries. Let’s see how OKC handles those situations. I’m a Mavs fan but Jdub is one of my favorite players.

On the flip side the Mavs had a staggering amount of injuries to all their best players besides Luka. Tim Hardaway Jr and Dwight Powell were the only players who didn’t get hurt this year….

OKC lost in 6 but were incredibly close to winning it all. In 6th game I felt like OKC solved Dallas but with Derrick Jones being so key that game, it was too little too late. There is no shame in it though, incredible team. Bound to success.

Oklahoma always had a good Mavs fanbase even before the Hornets came to OKC. With both teams young and mostly under contract, the next few years should be fun. They are a very young and inexperienced team. I remember seeing some stat that said Lebron had more playoff points than those guys had career points combined. That’s insane. But they got some real good experience this year. I think their team has much better potential than this current Dallas team if they stay together and healthy. Give them another two years and I think they will be one of if not the scariest team in the West.

Nah this is honesty. Especially games 5 & 6. Thunder just couldn’t hit their open 3’s. Mavs did a great job at packing the paint and stopped a lot of drive and kicks. Mavs defense is awesome. It also speaks to just how good Shai is around the free throw line. Okc/Dallas is going to be so fun to watch the next 5 years

We need size, not necessarily 7 footers but legit 6’8-6’11 Physical Players who can still stretch the floor even just a tad better than a Josh giddey… and we will be problematic. J-Will is nice but he’s a 4 and should be treated as such. Chet needs a backup at center and we need a true 4 to play either in front of or behind J-Will & J-Dub goes to the 3

Typical RSeason 1st seed thats not as good but they play hard and loose with Reg Season defense, pressure and inconsistency from other teams. It happened before (Goberts Jazz for example) and it would happen again.
