His mother did him wrong the most. She accepted the man he became, even enjoyed some of the spoils of his riches. While Franklin's actions did ultimately cost her the lives of Alton, Jerome and the broken relationship with Franklin himself, she decided that her loneliness would come with company. She lost her true love, which was family. Franklin lost his true love, which was money. Had Teddy not killed Alton, Franin gets his money.

The women who did Franklin the worse was Tee and Louie. Tee was plotting to get him backdoored by Manboy, and Louie backdoored him by taking the plug from Franklin and refusing to help him when he needed her the most, which kickstarted his descent into madness.

I think you can also look at cissy's approach as a sacrifice to keep Franklin, and most importantly, his son safe. If Franklin got that money, the CIA would have franklin on their radar, with or without teddy. Frenklins family would never be free from the CIA's hold. People hate on Cissy's decision, but I feel she was thinking about franklins son. I dont think franklin at that moment was thinking about his son. He was just desperate for the money
