I made this and it was a hit! We pretended we were in MoBay with our Jamaican fiends while having dinner here in Ontario during Covoid quarantine. then we shared photos with our friends just to let them know we keep the tradition going even when we can't be with them!

I had a dinner date with this guy I teally wanted to impress him. He knew I could cook but he wanted something we couldn't find in every restaurant in New Orleans. I asked my Jamaican friend what should I do. She gave me this recipe. It was a hit. He was very impressed. This is a very simple dish with lots of flavor. He loved it and so did i.
