They are an Italian metal band that make parodies of other metal bands and features. They play heavy metal and they play it well, if youre not the type of listener that is careful on the lyrics, musically they are a talented band. But when you start tracing the lotics and find gold. Musically they are a metal band and a 100% tribute to the genre, lyrically, they are mostly parodying the overly serious tone with which many metal bands are perceived to be showing. About this particular song - the humor is multilayered over here because it mixes the Norwegian black metal’s aesthetics ( with all the ghostly makeup ) with the sunny and positive reggaeton. They also have a more recent song “Disco metal” On top of this, the lyrics are a brainstorm over here, because literally every line is a reference to something commonly known among the metal fans across Europe and the world. Including the line about the breakfast: “Isn’t it good, it comes with my morning Norwegian wood” is a reference to the Beatles song “Norwegian wood” goofily out of context. A bit later “…where salmons dare” - an innuendo for the female genitalia, but also another goofy reference with Iron Maiden’s song “Where eagles dare”… Basically each line is genial humorous reference to other things that require some knowledge but it works perfectly well as a summer hit as well

Crazy Italians make a mix of Norwegian Death metal with raggae and somehow make it fantastic. You have a great smile and this brought it out wonderfully.

So there's a BUNCH of digs here at Varg. "You burned my soul like the Fantoft church in 1992, babe" - Varg is the guy who burned the church. When they burned the photo, that was a picture of Varg. Asando al salmon (roasting a salmon) goes to a joke about Varg's famous salmon recipe - he puts the salmon on a rock, and burns down the church next to it. Also, in nearly every song they do, they insert a tribute to some other specific song. In this one, it's Zombie by The Cranberries. Uranus has Staying Alive, Disco Metal has three different ones, Protocols of The Elders of Zion of Love has Eye of the Tiger, etc. I know for an absolute fact I have not caught all of the references in their stuff. Also, Uranus is .... scientifically accurate. The bass player is the founder, speaks something like 6 languages, and has a PhD in astrophysics. Most of their videos do have English subtitles, which I personally find helpful because I failed four years of high school Spanish - I just don't have the skillset for foreign languages. Musically, while they are primarily metal, they can cover pretty much ANYTHING, and they fuse things that you would never think would go together, and they make it work very, very well. In my opinion they are still vastly underrated for their pure musical skill. While some of the songs might not be to your taste, I can promise you that if you keep digging, you will find songs that you absolutely love, and I definitely recommend digging into them.

So funny reaction 😃. Thank you. This song is a mix of Norwegian Death Metal and Reggaeton, the result is crazy funny. I think you will have appreciated better with subtitles. They help a lot in this case because they’re using English, Norwegian and Spanish altogether with also some Italian Pun (like: ammirar la foca). I hope you start digging in the music of this “crazy” group. They have just 20 years of music and many albums to share.
