Piotr XYZ in turkey we call it "tatarian turkish" . it s kind of dialect of turkish. and tatars are turk which is oghuz turks. Just like us.

The chorus is in Crimean Tatar language and yes it is Turkic, that's why it sounds like Turkish. The translation of the chorus is: I couldn't get enough of my youthfulness I couldn't live in this place And on the last part she says I couldn't get enough of my homeland

Tatars are Turkic group and They speak Turkish with different accent but who influenced by Russia they reject it.5 million Tatar live in Turkey.Turkey support Ukraine because Tatars They are our Turkic brothers and sisters and they can get citizenship if they want with Turkish origins back to homeland.

yura slobodyan, first of all, political songs, except this one, are banned on eurovision. Why did they allow to sing the political song? Secondly, I don't agree with your "occupation". It looks like you're a subject to Ukrainian propaganda.

Justuxs no it is not. It talks about the repressions of Crimean Tatars by Russians, and not Ukrainian-Russian conflict. Research on the topic before speaking.

the OP doesnt mean this song's lyrics are about 2014 at all >_> obviously those are not. what is meant, is the timing of this be an entry song has a double entendre and plays upon fear of soviet, now russian potential for invasion i to europe. which, is well, hogwash. russia may be huge (& snowy) but it can't sustain that kind of move economically or in popular support... anyways, im pretty certain that is what the op was expressing. nothing about the literal lyrics... those are obvious...
