These musicians have become legendary....but like all things that are good in life, time will change things. These beautiful and so talented musicians are destined to become young women that will go on their own and build their own careers if they choose to make music their lives. The dynasty they have created with their togetherness under Mr. Chamorro's is going to change. There will be others to follow...new instrumentalists and vocalists to teach and groom..they will become a new dynasty as long as Chamorro is at the helm. He does magic...gives his students a chance to become themselves..to find their own voice. But treasure these musicians as an ensemble because this can't last forever. Meanwhile, gratitude to you Mr. Chamorro, you have brought happiness and joy to so many of us around the world.

Yes, the ensemble will move forward with new young people, and the current musicians will branch out. But the amazing number of recordings and videos that Joan has made guarantee that the music made by our old favorites will last as long as people still have the technology to see and hear them.

@@garryberman894 For me time has proved Rita the one with the greatest musical reach and originality and Jazz is a passion rather than a day job. It almost seems like she sneaks out at night to do truly innovative stuff with folk like Marti Serra and Kaleidoscope. I'm sure Andrea is the day job Jazz Queen, but I can't wait for her to become the new Sade and shake things up more. New respect for Magali the Rule Breaker. I'm starting to really like her stuff. The Goliards A Train just opened up a new rich jazzy seam that she is perfect for.

Lovely but sad comment. Have loved jazz all my life and here in U.K. it remains quite healthy. I discovered Irene (Not Diana) Kral via her recording of "Better than anything" via a jazz station and complained vie comments that she was rarely, if ever heard. Trish Bell from KABL960 replied stating that they did play Irene. They do too, with some of the best music ever recorded, mostly American. I listen to this station every day. Nothing like it here. I have never heard Billie Holiday sing this number before this but having now done so I am glad I heard this first. This version is better by far. I often go to originals mentioned by other commentators just to see/hear what was done to a song first and so far nothing has compared to Mr Chamorro's treatment or these young people's application. They are all fantastic and I wish them all the very best for the rest of their lives. They have given me a lot of happiness listening and watching. Long live the internet because without it I never would have encountered this group of talented people. May I also add I think the guitarist deserves far more adulation than he gets. Josep Traver's backing often gets me back tracking to hear him playing a solo again. He deserves more recognition and adulation for his part in training and backing these young people.

Another of those absolutely precious moments that only happen in live jazz performance. First tune, “On the Sentimental Side”, piano intro, 0.01 to 0:14: Magalí is first to pick up on Mr. Terraza’s little inside joke at 0.05, then it hits Joan at 0.08 and cracks him up. It’s to Magalí’s credit that she’s able to begin the song with an almost straight face. Good thing Joan wasn’t doing the vocal! I don’t want to spoil it for any who haven’t already found this gem, you can enjoy discovering it for yourself.

Magali sings this with great style. Also great to see the other Fab Four girls...Eva, Andrea and Rita. All are fabulous. Two other great singers in the SAJB Joana and Alba are not there but should be mentioned too. These six girls all in the same band...no band as ever had so many great female singers. Oh, I should also mention Abril and Claudia too. So many great female singers in this band‼️👍
