This is a compilation video showcasing the legendary football highlights of former OU QB Jamelle Holieway. After taking over for injured Quarterback Troy Aikman in the 4th game of the 1985 season, Jamelle would become the first and only true freshman QB to ever lead a CFB team to a National Championship. By the time he finished his Sooner career he had amassed over 5,000 total yards and scored more than 50 touchdowns. His record as a starter was 32 wins to 3 losses and today he is still remembered as one of the best players in school history.

I had no idea!! what an absolute monster he was - multiple double digit rushing TD seasons, and almost 100 rushing yds a game!

He was the quarterback at my high school the last year of 6 consecutive high school championships that Banning high won. The things he did in that final game against our Rivals Carson high were ridiculous

@@DoubeEdged7 Jamelle probably outscored the entire opposing team, would be my guess. He outscored a number of teams OU played, actually. Yes, that OU "D" was one of the best in college football history, but when OU hung 77 points on Missouri, then 63 like the next week, it wouldn't be too hard to do.

Murray best QB I ever saw at OU. Plus there were a 3rd stringer on this team I thought was OUr best QB named Eric Mitchell. Though Hollieway was the best passer of the 3
