Funny...but I also like that he's more interested in just getting the message out rather than meeting expectations generated by a mostly apperances-based vapid world. I could still hear him (all the way from BARBADOS) and it didn't stop him being his usual humorous self.

For those of you complaining about the sound: does it sound exactly like a low budget book flogging advertisement on a local television station? That's the vibe I'm getting. Pretty sure it's intentional.

Possibly... Recording clean audio DIY is kind of hard though, even if you have a Zoom or Tascam recorder and a lapel mic it can still go wrong, so it could be a genuine error. Whether the gain is wrong, or the gain is wrong and you are recording straight into the camera and don't have a backup et cetera et cetera... I guess there is a reason real sound recordists are permanently on the headphones monitoring things to make sure it's going well.

Local tv stations are still part of the BBC so no advertising on them and you only get them deviating from the regular channel content a few times a day like to add the local news. Or like Wales will get Welsh language versions of shows where available.
