Yes, I am so grateful for being born in USA. I have been to Central America and have friends from other countries. I know not everyone has the same life. Also, I'm a Navy brat, Army Vet and I know I have a good life.

Everything said about suicide is true and that's something that touched me, I truly felt that. My brother took his life a year ago and as a family we still mourn his death. Words I won't forget, thanks Ernie.

Thank you for addressing suicide. I was abused as a child and adult. I'm glad I didn't commit suicide. I got therapy, it does get better.

I grew up on commodities too. We drank powered milk and ate that big block of cheese. That cheese made good grilled cheese.

I've been referred to as the-red-indian as well. It seems to be a hard thing for some cultures to understand that people of various races, ethnicities and cultures intermarry when people in their countries don't intermarry within the cast systems. When doing missions work in once poor country the leader of the one group pointed me out saying that I was different and thought and acted differently then the other Americans with me. It was a good thing she was saying. I had to explain why I was raised differently. They honestly assumed that I should be wearing feathers in my hair and riding horses like they saw on TV. It did not affend me.

Good thoughts on suicide. My son overdid meth, it might as well be suicide. He died, a week out of prison.
